Like it when Oklahoma loses. Like it when KState wins. Love it when it happens same time same place.

Lots of car door slamming in Manhattan tonight! :scarfer:

I haven’t been that impressed with OU when I’ve seen them this season so it doesn’t surprise me that they were upset. I like the look of Ohio State though. I think it’ll come down to them, LSU or Bama.

the LSU game was a good 'un

now I am watching it absolutely pissing down in South Bend and believe it or not, Michigan are up 17-0

the other big boys never really got any competition - must admit the Oklahoma game was a head scratcher

Alabama up 41-0 at the half

Clemson up 38-7 at the half

Ohio State easy winners 38-7

LSU 23-20

Penn State 28-7

so it's getting now down to where the top teams are going to have to play each other soon - SEC most definitely

LSU/Alabama/Clemson/Auburn/Georgia - well not sure who is in which side of the division but even so someone will have to play someone else high in the rankings as a lot of the best teams are in the SEC

I don't believe it. Game is at Ann Arbor in the Big House :)

Auburn-LSU was entertaining but way sloppy. LSU will need to tighten it up when up against better teams.

You could see the Oklahoma loss coming a mile away. 11am local time start on the road, the Sooners showed up not ready to play.

#10 GEORGIA (6-1) @ #7 FLORIDA (7-1)

2:30 CDT

this has the makings of a really good game:

can't find much else in the way of top ranked teams playing anyone of note, especially in the p.m. - which works out great setting up the night for the Diaz/Masvidal fight !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday 9th though:

#2 LSU @ #1 Alabama

World's largest outdoor cocktail party. Just watching the fans is half the fun. Solid rivalry.
can't find much else in the way of top ranked teams playing anyone of note....
Some other good rivalry games happening:
Miami-Florida State
Kansas-Kansas State
Lots of good Pac 10 matchups.
San Jose State-Boise State a solid Mountain West game.

ain't they all outside (or pretty much) the Top 25 though ?

used to be that Miami/Florida State was 2 x top 10 teams if not higher..

how the mighty have fallen .........

which one of the SEC teams (I think) have a stadium where the minted punters arrive by boat ?

Tennessee maybe or one of them ???????

I tend to gravitate to what I expect to be an entertaining match-up. Am less concerned about where teams are currently ranked. Otherwise it would be like limiting myself to matches including Liverpool, ManCiteh, etc.

That one and Oregon @ USC are Pac10 teams in the top 10 going on the road in conference. Decent chance of an upset, although SoCal a mess. Just hired a new AD so the coach is probably history at the end of the season.

Virginia Tech, traditionally a good road dog, heading to South Bend. Will keep a hopeful eye on that one.

I’d say this Nebraska v Purdue game has been good except the 2 defenses resemble West Hams in quality

Refs helping the home team in South Bend? Say it ain't so!

VA Tech INT goes away thanks to less-than-marginal roughing the passer call. ND o-line gets away with the clear hold on next play and the Irish march down the field. Good thing they suck and miss the FG. VT by 6 with 7 minutes to go.

sounds a good game - this Georgia Florida game is a good one too..........

Florida back in it with a t.d. only for someone to leave a WR wide open for a play that I could have scored on !!!!!!!

going for 2 pts as they are up 22-10 with about 10 minutes left to go.......

Georgia’s been the better team. They really ought to have this one put to bed. Fla is hanging in there though.

UW v Utah’s been good too. Huskies up by 2 going into the 4th.

Georgia made the 2 Florida pretty much marched down the field and got a t.d. with around 3 minutes left. gotta be an onside kicks no ?

24-17

strange - pooch kick ......Georgia with the ball on about their own 32

1st down Georgia about 2 minutes left and Florida with no time outs left....
