If it's not pissing with rain in Southampton today, I think there's potentially a high scoring, thrilling game in prospect between England and the Windes

Bowling too short to Gayle. Get it into his feet and slip the odd one in.
Roy looks like he's done his Hammy.

Gayle goes! Plunkett mixes it up and he couldn't resist going for it.

How we had to review that Hope lbw i do not know - looked plumb from the moment it hit. Runs wise think WI are a bit slow but we need to break this partnership.

And Root does it, I wish he'd bowl a bit more he seems to have a golden arm.BabyClaret wrote:How we had to review that Hope lbw i do not know - looked plumb from the moment it hit. Runs wise think WI are a bit slow but we need to break this partnership.

Woakes drops a skyer. Looking into the sun. Why is he not wearing sunglasses?

The Windies look well behind the rate and at 5 down probably don't have the wickets in hand to accelerate late on.
Fingers crossed.

Personally wouldn't say that far behind, but the wickets down already will hopefully be an issue.sendô wrote:The Windies look well behind the rate and at 5 down probably don't have the wickets in hand to accelerate late on.

Is that another 2 catches down today? Our fielding has pretty much been spot on for a year or so, not like us to drop catches, well, until the WC. Needs to stop if we are going to get to the final.
