Not sure I would go for a quick run rate, with two batsmen potentially out. Might be an idea to go nice and steady and avoid an England collapse. Guess we will know by who opens instead of Roy, if it’s Root (steady) or Butler (smash).

17 overs and 8 wickets left, that is a crushing defeat. Well done England.

WI were poor but good stuff from the bowlers and the top 3 including a promoted up the order Woakes.

Highlight for WI was Gayle's bowling spell including warming up by flossing, fake appeals etc all while wearing a pair of Aviators.

A bit one sided today really and the game didn’t live up to the hypethat you’d expect for Ind v Pak, although it appeared to be a cracking atmosphere

Pakistan continuing their recent theme of being absolutely dogshit vs all teams but world class vs England. :|

Still some way to go but starting to look like it'll be Aus, NZ, India & Eng in semis.

I still feel the weather may play a part but cocking things up for 1 of the bigger teams and restricting them to 1 point against a minnow.

The Indian commentator on Sky yesterday, Sanjay I think, my dear god his bias was ridiculous. How Sky have not pulled him I don't know.

Smashed the WI :D

Thought Pakistan would take them closer, but those 2/3 quick wickets killed the game.

India, look the complete side and side to beat today. Going to take a near perfect performance to take them in the semi/final.

When/if we do play them, make the wicket a batsmans paradise, not a turning wicket!

^ Who was the bloke interviewing the captains at the end? Basically said to Sarfaraz Ahmed "So, do you think you lost because your bowlers were ****, because your fielding was ****, or because your batting was ****". He might as well have said those words.

Then when he interviewed Virat Kohli he pretty much said "India have got it easy against Pakistan now, all they need to do it turn up and smash them" or words not far off of that.

The Liverpool of cricket.
