Balls. Denly out for 94. Siddle finally finding his rhythm and could have had him twice before in that over.

Ahh feel for Denly there. 6 away from his first Test ton but he did look really wobbly when he got in the 90s.

Bairstow doesn't last long. Personally I'd be giving him the winter off. Let Buttler and Foakes fight over the gloves.

Wickets tumbling now. I won’t feel comfortable really with anything less than a 400 lead.

I think its safe to say Tim Paine won't be doing a Paul Reiffel and becoming an umpire when he retires.....

Good and very warm day at the cricket. Personally I feel the only way we’ll win is if the Aussies bowl us out quickly (which is what looks to have transpired) . Root would have been too conservative. Got to see a couple of 50’s, some good bowling and some excellent banter. Bancroft and Lyon getting most.

All set up nicely....fair play to Denly....always thought he looked good-just couldn’t back it up with runs. Probably booked his tour place with that knock.

Would prefer 400 just because of Smith, but if we don’t win from here then something special will have happened....hopefully not Warner suddenly finding form!!

Has there been a single decision in this series when Bairstow has been out and hasn't questioned/reviewed it?

He needs to be dropped now, gone on for way too long now.

399 to get.....2 days to do it and perfect conditions for batting.

Nervous? :arry:

Good ball from Broad, but a batsman in form gets a bit of bat on that

Even at 230-4 I'd be pretty comfortable. That would mean that either Lasagne or Captain Sandpaper are gone and they don't have enough batting after that.

Ta ta Warner.

If we can actually nip out Smith for under 50 then that would be the icing on the cake.

Good stumping by Bairstow, about time he did something useful!

I enjoyed Broad's cameo with the bat this morning, he only connected twice didn't he?
