It would be boring if we just smashed our way to the win........ extra time, super over, call it what you like, adds to the drama and the win and ultimately makes it more memorable. 8-)

In all honesty, the Rugby boys doing it down under against the convicts was probably the greatest achievement.

I sporting event in our lifetime will ever have that drama.

This is clearly the greatest achievement, beaten the 3 of the top 4 nations in the world(one of them twice) to win it.

For me it has to be the Cricket world cup...

Wasn't alive in 66, and was still young for the Rugby world cup... Although can still remember what i was doing for the Rugby world cup!

But last sunday, the whole drama and how it unfolded, how it progressed into what it meant and the finish, Stokes redemption from 2016... Archer proving his selection, which was slightly controversial (he was brought in and meant Willey, one of the key component to how we got to number 1 missed out), just everything came together perfectly!

Was quite fitting that the final was free-to-air as back in 2005 thats what got me into the Cricket with the Ashes

I watched all 3 on tv , and was in the Hollies Stand on the Sunday morning in 2005.
Add the Clay-Liston fight on next door's elderly B/W telly and just maybe I was born at the right time !!

Looking back, Bobby and Martin Johnson are lionised, I wonder if Morgan will be too?
