Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
Great win for England. Always nice to thrash the aussies. Some great defending and we made australia look ordinary. Weve got better as the tournament has gone on which is good to see.
Shame about Ireland, and ENG vs IRE semi would have been a great occasion, and I dont want to see the all blacks win it again.
Also an aside, but is there a more over rated spectacle in world sport than the haka? Why do opposition players give it the time of day?

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
I did .... for all of 3 pico-seconds, because I am a caring soul!!
A great win for England and we really did rub their noses in it ... the icing on the cake was the ruling out of the Aussie try at the end!!
Eddie’s celebration was great ... bet he’s even more popular in Oz now!!
Will be an altogether different match agoinst the Kiwis next week - we’ll have to disrupt their game early on. If we can beat them - then we’ll win the trophy.
Agree - the Haka has been done to death for far too long. We need to respond with a Morris-dance.

Totally agree, I don't see how it can be traditional either as they change it every year.
Unfortunately, World Rugby have decreed that the opposition must show respect and watch it from a particular point on the pitch (10 yard line i think).
Years ago opposing teams have advanced and confronted them to accept the "challenge" or simply ignored them, but that was deemed disrespectful.

I was hoping the paddies would respond with a riverdance.
We should definitely do a morris dance next week. Or a 15 man synchronised ****er sign.

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
Great win...soaked up the early pressure; and were very clinical when we had the ball...very un-English! If you’d have said before the game that kicking to Beale was going to be a tactic I’d have had my head in my hands. But it worked to a tee....our defence was brilliant and they just played right into it!
Not a huge surprise to see Ireland rolled over like that....they’ve done a NZ pre 2011 and peaked 12 months early.
ABs definitely beatable but we’ll need to step it up again next week
Personally I love the Haka....adds to the theatre!
Have a sneaky feeling France will turn Wales over this morning

They're playing bloody well so far and look like scoring a try every time they attack. They've already ran in three

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
Yep....but Wales v experienced. They won’t panic and France equally likely to implode! But if they do the un-French thing of staying composed they are ina great position. They may rue those 5 easy points missed by Ntamack though...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
Pretty sure the Welsh will win this, wether they would have if Moriarty had got a red.....who knows?
Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
I think yellow for Moriarty was the right call. Fickou’s head was quite low.
Ntamack not come out for the second half.

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
Red card for Vahaamahina. Absolutely moronic behaviour and fully deserved. So unnecessary. Struggling to get my head around it at all.

Absolutely, they would've got a try from that move had he not been such a prick

I'm really looking forward to the Japan/ Saffers match. Just going to sit back and enjoy it. What's that SAS motto ? Who cares who wins ?

Makes you wonder doesn't it. They had this match won and should've won it

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.
To me that rip was forward but not “enough” to be clear and obvious. Not sure the welsh can be too pleased with that performance. Also shout out to Biggar and Liam’s Williams for their non stop whinging.
