Stokes drops a relatively easy one, that's three today from him (first was hard). I think 4 chances have gone down in total (none dollies) . With rain about this could be costly.

Clinical? Or just awful batting from SA?

Not that I'm complaining....

Bit of both, but their length was excellent and there was slight movement. It is nice it is on the other foot, so often it is us praying for rain or having to rely on some superhuman effort from Cook, Atherton, Stokes etc.

Bowled him!! And we start again, the dangerous Elgar gone, excellent length. (they said 8% of seemers balls in the last 3 years would hit the stumps, we've had three clean bowled today)

Great from Wood, glad he's joined the wickets party.

4'fer from Root, he his far better than part-time. SA just sitting there waiting to lose, hardly trying to score baring the odd big shot, no rotating the strike, just letting Bess and Root bowl maidens.

Have concerns with Bess, not enough variety, pickedup a few first go but they're not falling for him twice, thought he was poor against Essex last game of the season on a wicket turning square

I was shouting at the tele for Root to toss one up outside off stump to De Kock
