Seems to be a distinct lack of home fans in the stadium...

Start the car, this one is almost over. SA given up after their earlier defiance.

Great performance from England. Tour started off horrifically with the illness, injuries, Stokes dad falling ill and so on but we really turned it round.
Apart from Root thinking he's Murali he had a really good series captaincy wide in the end.

Re: England Cricket: tour of South Africa
If you think about the start of the series - with all the sickness, footballgate, the continued search for openers and a middle order - we’ve done well. Sibley, Pope and to a lesser extent, Crawley are all getting valuable game time and not being 25-3 in games, shows that most players are applying themselves to the longer (and proper) form of cricket. Good to see Wood back and Woakes in the fold. The main downside has been Buttler’s form which appears to be a case of increasing self doubt when he fails ... a bit of a vicious circle but hopefully his confidence will resurface in his preferred 1 day game.

Totally agree.
The last two tests ended up a stroll in the park.

Great series win for England, it‘s never easy to win a series abroad.
Hopefully no more Buttler in the test team, he needs to be left to be a white ball specialist. I hope they stick with Denly too, I think he is a good score or two away from changing his fortunes.
Very impressed the bowlers succeeded in taking 20 wickets regularly, a clear improvement along with Root’s captaincy as the series went on.

Re: England Cricket: tour of South Africa
An excellent all round team performance from England this series, especially after the difficult start with illnesses and injuries. The batsmen all chipped in with runs, and the bowlers all took wickets. We've almost completely dominated SA for 3 tests, not an easy thing to do away from home.
If we can keep Wood and Archer fit and playing regularly for the next 2 years, that'll put us in a decent position to reclaim the ashes down under next year.

England doing their best to make hard work of a very strong position in the final ODI. Bairstow with a good 43 in 23 balls, since then it has been rather poor. Still should win this and level the series.
Excellent bowling performance from England with Rashid the stand out.

England some how lose the 1st T20.
Proper bottled that one, Morgan trying to be the 'star', Curran as well. 2's were more than enough to get it but they wanted to be Ben Stokes and failed.
