I thought the same thing earlier. I think it would be a good signing on a pay as you play deal as you say. Yes, but I think he can probably expect an offer on a similar basis from a club in one of Europe's top divisions. If he's prepared to take pretty much nothing as a basic wage, with a hefty appearance fee, then I would. But I'd imagine better clubs than us would also take him on that type of deal. Anything more than a couple of grand a week as basic, and no.
