Re: Summer 2012 Transfer and Rumours Thread
Being from Hamburg comes in handy again (like with us bringing in Demel), I've seen Pitroipa in Hamburg on a regular basis. He's just what we want, a quick, skillful winger, pace to burn, a trick or two in the locker and a good character in the clubhouse as well. He's not scoring many, but if he was he'd certainly be playing for Real, Barca, Chelsea or Man U. I'd recommend signing him up if Zaha deal doesn't happen. I hope we don't allow Palace to bleed us dry with a ridiculously high transfer fee, so if the lates offer is not accepted, screw them!
Pitroipa is a very good option to fall back on...

I've seen Pitroipa play a few times while he was at Hamburg. Looked pretty handy, certainly a decent alternative to Zaha. In fact he has quite a similar style of play to Wilfried.

I can imagine Gummi with one of those magic 8 balls, pulling random names up and shaking the eight ball.
No offence meant mate, but everything's a bit random. Which twitter feed are you getting this off

I've seen it on the SSN, just a thought.COYI wrote:Is that just because he's left Liverpool?

Yeah a great website. I know you can overly judge anyone from Youtube footage, but he does look fast and full of tricks. I reckon he could be a final piece in a jigsaw. And he would add real excitement in the stadium. Worth further investigation methinks. Don't tell wonky eye!haggle2 wrote:He's got a slick looking website, seem to remember Demba did as well...

I still don't think upton girlie will agreehammer2192 wrote: Haha remember the thread, and you have been proven right.
By the way what was he drinking at this party?
Can't say I noticed what he was drinking, he wasn't off his face or anything though, wasn't giving it the Billy big b*llocks either. From looking at him you'd probably just think he was your average skinny 22 year old.

Re: Summer 2012 Transfer and Rumours Thread
Like I said, his big flaw is not scoring a lot of goals. But that should not be a problem, as I see other players in our team who can take care of putting the goals away as long as the chances are being created. What Pitroipa will give us is pace down the flanks, clever passing and the odd freekick in a dangerous position since opposing players often struggle to deal with him within the boundaries of the game. Think of him like a slightly better Barrera who actually wants to play in England...Muddy wrote:This Pitroipa fella sounds a bit to good to be true, if there's any truth in the rumour and we do sign him he'll probably be ****
