Yossi Benayoun is a playmaker , Can spot a pass AND pick it out. He's the sort of player that can turn a draw into a victory. Granted he has been known to go missing in certain games. Cast your mind's back to the F.A Cup Final and he's performance that day was exceptional. He could be the difference between relegation and surviving,

Your entitled to your opinion, With consideration, Who would you suggest? Don't get me wrong, I'd rather Zaha but IF Benayoun was to arrive i wouldn't be too disappointed.

Villa away just after he joined, played a blinder and Marlon got a hat-trick.
Fulham at home in his second season. Two outstanding individual goals.
I can't be arsed to check Soccerbase but I had a season ticket for the two years he played for us (not since then but that's not the point) and he was an excellent player for us.
You're right though, five years have passed and he's now 32. Plus he undoubtedly stitched us up.
Would I have him back though? Yep.
A loan deal would be ideal but if Chelsea are gonna release him then a two year contract would be pretty sensible anyway.
We're a well drilled side who excel at set pieces, Yossi though can still play a decent through ball and his dribbling skills were always based on the old drop of the shoulder trick or his little spins rather than blistering pace so he'd still be fine despite his age.

...., and besides, I thought Yossi Benayoun had a poor match that afternon in the 2006 FA Cup Final and it should have been him who came off and not the otherwise exellent, Carl Fletcher. Had Pards substituted Benners, I think we would have won the cup that day. It was only after Fletch went off that Gerrard began to play after Fletch had him in his pocket for 70 minutes

And for those of you Twitter savvy, take a butcher's at our new boy Nathan's Twitter feed.
Safe...
No mention of this new boy on the official site. And I do not do twitter so what's it say on his twitter account?

Apart from Kightly, I've yet to get excited over any of the transfer speculation to be honest.
Hoping that it's just lazy journalism again.

Zaha himself definitely thinks there is a good chance of joining West Ham. The interest is very real. Don't shoot it down too soon mate. The Rebirth wrote:
Various people... Zaha.. there has been a load of Palace fans abusing Adzman etc saying we have no money and why would Zaha want to join us... I am going to be honest here we will not get Zaha. £8m? Hahaha yeah maybe if you're Cashester City and can afford to blow that sort of money on someone unproven..
And someone else on here, quite rightfully asked when we are going to look for a player who can actually tackle... that's where I hope we go after Claudio Yacob. Would love to sign him.
