Cheers! That had been annoying me for awhile.baritalia wrote:Heart monitors and GPS trackers I think. Basically they monitor his heart rate through the training and make a decision if he's fit enough to play based on that.

Now that would be a very good signing!

I will eat my hat and everyone else's if we sign Aly Cissokho...that would be brilliant, and therefore I believe there's ZERO chance of it happening!

Re: The January 2013 transfer window
I think he is too important to Norwich, only a larger bid would tempt them, so its probably more twitter nonsense IMOHammers_Irons wrote:Stuart Day on Twitter: "Some Norwich fans saying Bassong to join West Ham." on BBC Sport

Yeh, I agree. I think he might be the difference for Norwich staying up or going down. They kept several clean sheets with him being in the team. Unless we've made a major bid and he wants back in London its unlikely.Absentee Hammer wrote: I think he is too important to Norwich, only a larger bid would tempt them, so its probably more twitter nonsense IMO

The GPS is so we don't lose him especially after his antics in dublin.baritalia wrote:Heart monitors and GPS trackers I think. Basically they monitor his heart rate through the training and make a decision if he's fit enough to play based on that.

Re: The January 2013 transfer window
Anyone follow French football? What happened to Cissokho? Was linked with big money moves to most of the elite clubs in Europe a few years back.
Samr with M'Vila, was linked with the biggest clubs then has a choive between QPR and Rubin Kazan...

What sort of idiot club would fall for that old trick?westhamburgerking wrote:Maybe Bassong has a very low release clause fee.

But why did Valencia get him for ~€5m 3 years after Lyon paid ~€15m for him?claretcloggy wrote:you mean aly cissohko? now plays for valencia, regular choice LB as far as I know.
Especially seeing as he seemed to play every game for Lyon.

Jérémy Mathieu (a player i've always admired) is Valencia's first choice LB, however with him out injured at the moment, Valverde seems to prefer Guardado at LB. Cissohko mainly plays in cup competitions.

very funny typo(?) from SSN:
:lol:Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes admits the club are hoping to secure a couple of new players in the next 48 hours. The Premier League strugglers have been linked with former striker Peter Crouch and defender Chris Samba.
