When is it that teams have to give their 25 man squad to the FA or whoever you give them to , is it Sept 4 ?

We could sell WBA Maiga for £10m if they're desperate and hope they don't get in our way of transfer targets like Quagiarella etc .

If this is true, then it makes this video even funnier. " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;[/quote]

that's brilliant - you can tell by his face in that, that he's already thinking "West Bromich? This is a big mistake"

Official line is that he's being given time off on compassionate grounds. Suggestions from journalists on twitter that his agent has died.

Sam will always line up with three in the middle and four at the back for Premier League games.
With that as the base of the side you cannot have two forwards in it.

Your post is horribly incorrect.
Please explain?

Vaz Te is a winger. He plays on the wing. You even said yourself that he has not played as a forward.
The reason that he has not played as a forward is that there is not a position in our system for a second forward. Two attacking wingers yes. An attacking midfielder, yes. A second forward, no.

Now that we have Downing, Jarvis and a host of other out and out wingers, we do not need to keep buying forwards to stick out wide and out of position.

Your post is horribly confusing.
My post is efficiently accurate.

I reckon Quag can play any of those roles as well as Centre Forward. IMO he could play with or instead of Nolan, Cole, Carroll, Vaz, Downing or Jarvis. Dont see Nolan being dropped unless injured.

Anyone seen this?

An argument that many of us have had over the last couple of years, but Vaz is a forward who can also play on the wings in my book.

From the OS

"A tall, quick and powerful player, Ricardo Vaz Te is a versatile forward or winger who can both score and create goals for his team."

I understand that. My point is that he plays on the wing. This was never about Vaz Te for me, someone else mentioned him.

My point is that we do not play with two forwards, or three forwards or one forward and one second forward. We play with just one forward.

We have played forwards as wingers with mixed effect. But not two forwards.

And from what I have seen of him, Quag is not the type of player that can play as a lone forward in the way that we require it to be played (that last bit is key as I am not knocking Quag at all).

I bleat on about this, but Vaz looks a natural central attacker to me. His first touch is very good..enough for him to get a shot or a short pass away, his heading is good, and all the good work we have seen from him has been in the central area.

He is making hard work of trying to be a wide midfielder.

An alternative to Maiga in Carroll's absence, if the second striker role is a non starter,.

... but let's be quite honest, he is no more than a Championship player. He has, however, done a pretty good job for us, he served a purpose at the time and was good value for it too, but where we are heading, there's no room for him

Think the jury is still a bit out on Ricardo.

Great season in the championship, last year started promising but then his season got kinda ruined by injury, never quite hit the ground running after that
