I wanted Antonio all along.

I also wanted Adebayor, altho I realise he splits the opinion on here

Being greedy expecting both, but I really hope that can happen.

Jinxed any truth to the rumour Adebayor met Bilic last night, and what the outcome is likely to be?

Cheers and top work btw

I think we already know he met Bilic last night, the outcome we don't know, though I suspect it was a last chance to decide between him and Jelavik if I had to bet on it.

Shouldn't Jenkinson and Song also appear in the Out section if they get to appear in the In section?

How about this scenario? Spurs pay up Adebayor's contract. As a free agent he signs for us. :D

What a good window. Credit to the board for backing Bilic. Thanks to the ITKs for sharing information, especially to Jinxed - for pretty much getting everything right. Well done all.

The only problem, why would spurs pay up his contract to allow him to move here?

Good window. I honestly thought we weren't going to sign anyone else, so hats off to the Daves.

Maybe we will now go in to matches without the feeling of dread at what we have on the bench.

Because you don't pay the full contract, usually they come to some sort of agreement with the player.

I imagine him going to Villa or someone similar on loan rather than that option though.

After all the doom and gloom on here before the Liverpool game (I felt it but didn't post about it) its been an absolutely brilliant few days. We have improved the squad and first team with some excellent additions, bringing in a mixture of experience and raw talent whilst addressing the squad balance (or lack of) at the same time.

I've gone from being disillusioned to being very optimistic about this season. Amazing what a couple of days in football can do!

Well done and thanks to Jinxed and everyone else who have shared their info too
