Been the worlds most overrated player for a couple of years (along with Raheem Sterling)
Tearing it up in Ligue 1 counts for little

Someone should tell David Sullivan before he wastes £40m then.

I don't know if anyone has said it yet, but I reckon Perisic would be a good signing. 8-)

If we could get him and that Stoke player Arnautovic we would have:

Perisic Arnautovic be bound to get a few clean sheets :D

You jest Ageing, but if we had Fairy Redknapp :arry: in charge he would be all over a deal like that!

He might even be Bold enough to go all out for an Aerial assault and resign Tide Best..........

The age thing has to catch up eventually, perhaps in his case it'll be all of a sudden, one transfer too many, one season more than he should.(see Rio Ferdinand and to a lesser extent, Kevin Nolan)
Clearly I'm only guessing.

He's used to having the best players in the league around him. Now he's got one of the poorer sides of the tournament around him, and the other team can focus almost interely on stopping him.

Are we even sure he would suit us? I am sure he is very good, but is he suited to a lone striker role where he is expected to make something out of a bunch of high balls and crosses. Wouldnt we be better off with a striker who had more of an aerial game?

Maybe Zlatan's failings thus far in the Euros are more down to the quality around him wearing yellow shirts than the man himself. I wouldn't touch another Swedish player with a bargepole and none of them deserve to be anywhere near PL level.

As for some thinking Ligue One is sub standard and tearing it up there is irrelevant. Maybe you should go back and watch how the likes of Ayew, Martial, Kante and even Payet where doing the exact same things last season that they dominated the PL doing this year.

What was it Del Boy used to say - There's none so blind as them that won't listen. There's good reason why the entire PL is scouting Ligue One far more than any other European League.
