Pretty sure there were direct quotes reported yesterday from their gaffer mugging us off over the 4-0 too. Image

Risky for the soul to tell Jesus to eff off though.

Jinxed has said the fee for Carvalho has been agreed.
ExWHU has said the deal is close.

I can't see how we'd pull out of the deal now. Mind you nothing says West Ham like agreeing a £35million deal only to pull out at the last minute

Premier League Transfer window change to be voted on by clubs

Seems they want it to end before the first game

Always did seem too good to be true that we were signing a £35m DM.

cheers!
the original article says our interest has cooled down as they want 10 million euros more on top of the 32 offered (partially in add ons it seems), and we are now going for their captain, adrien silva, and palhinha, young DM. we offered 30 million euros and 25% sell on fee for palhinha. they want 5 million more.

all this from a "source close to the process".

sporting clube, contacted by jornal de noticias, is denying we offered anything for the two players.

How would ending the PL window before the start of our season prevent other leagues bidding for/buying PL players while their windows are still open?

not that it would affect us...

Mmm are we looking at Last seasons Bacca approach all over again, be interesting reading the line that this has gone south, don't worry though we will use the money from this window, last January Defoe money & not buying Zaza. Should be able to afford a galactico at this rate. Hope it's all b*llocks, still dont really see how it helps our creativity. Thought we only needed a few players, we have a few in already but, maybe we needed a CB, DM, AM, LW & a forward. Blimey.

Then they can blame Bilic, saying they were about to sign him, but the manager didn't want him.

Nothing would say West Ham more than a £35m signing getting cold feet after watching us lose 4-0 on opening day. That would actually be quite funny. A bit of a classic West Ham mythology to look back on in the years to come.

Sergio roberto is becoming available now from Barca as they have just bought Paulinho, his release clause is £36m. Gotta be worth a shot?

Both Man U and Chelsea being linked with him...on the back of Sunday's showing I very much doubt he'd be interested in us over those two...

All transfers should be completed before the first game... Really don't know how the current situation has been allowed to happen it's ruining the first few games on the season!
