Far from it. A player has travelled to another country and arranged his own medical with another team in an attempt to force a move away, and we've refused to sell him.

INSANITY.

He'd walk into every team in the prem. Go offer him millions to come here for the year, millions! NOW!

Not as ridiculous as it seems at first glance. Paul Clement used to work at Bayern and still has loads of contacts there.

Clement was Ancelloti's assistant in Madrid and at Bayern.

This is exactly what happened towards the end of Allardyce's tenure, don't know why anyone should be so surprised.

Board has lost faith in manager, refuses to sack and pay off, contract will wind down but in the meantime the manager will not be backed in the transfer window as they will be "abortive" signings and he will have to make do with players signed by the Chairman.

It's funny because Sullivan looks like he is incapable of multi tasking and working on more than 1 deal at a time an alarming weakness for an owner of a premier league football club who needs at least 3 in in the next 24 hours!

Add Renato Sanches to the list he's agreed to join Swansea! We could afford it and we could attract him it would be madness to say otherwise! Another one Sullivan "missed"

Cue Harry to get in on the sakho deal with SSN broadcasting images of him hanging out the window of his motor paying the toll at Dover bringing sakho back from Rennes!

Sanches played 24 games for Benfica, and then 17 (mostly as a sub) for Bayern. That's it. Let's not make out that he's the finished article.

I imagine Clement has sold them on the fact that he'll give him a years worth of football and maybe make him into someone that Bayern can use next season.

I'd still take him way above Wilshere!

He signed Hart, Arnautovic and Hernandez in a week. Definitely wasn't working on one at a time that week.

The thing is West Ham need to build a squad and Sanches is pure luxury until he goes back to his parent club. Unless there was an option for a permanent deal at the end of the loan I'm not sure i really see the point. Of course the biggest worry is if we are to spend any money on positions where we are short of quality players, as time is running out. Deadline day is a ridiculous way to approach business yet here we are again...

We always see rumours bouncing around in a flurry on deadline day, it is to give off the impression we really tried when no one comes in...

Why does it always rennes on me?
Is it because I cried when I'm not in the team?
Why does it always rennes on me?
Even when the sun is shining I can't avoid in fighting

Renato Sanches is the exact opposite of what we need in the midfield

He'd be our best midfielder. So, you know, he's not.
