Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
We failed at getting Mirallas on loan. Why were we even going for him? He gets sent off every other game and has a horrible attitude.O wait, I just answered my own question.

Do you not think, if they had anything they were allowed to share, they would have?

That Spanish bloke from Sky reckons Arsenal have accepted £60m for Sanchez from Man City, subject to them getting Lemar.
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
come next Monday night we should know our fate for the rest of the season and no doubt be a packed house of supporters both disappointed and moaning re lack of investment.
I hope I am proven wrong and G&S flash the cash but getting desperately late on in the day now
we live in hope

They don't know everything anyway. Plenty of transfers were supposedly 'done' over the years that didn't come off
You only have to wait another 10 hours or so!

But if we go for him, why on loan? Cheap, short term sh!te moves from the board. I don't want him but our half @rsed behaviour in the transfer window when we clearly need players just p!sses me off.TheHandOfDog wrote:We failed at getting Mirallas on loan. Our dear ITK chums have sadly realised the awful truth about our owners lack of ambition and have decided on the option of taking the Pearl Handled revolver into the Study and closed the door quietly behind them.Bernie_Lama wrote:what's happened to the itk's?

And people STILL back these owners?
It doesn't much matter who "backs" the owners or not, unless there is a realistic alternative - not exactly that many people who can stump up the cash for a Premier League football team, and among the ones that could and would potentially be interested, how many would protect the interests of the club (some Russian or Middle Eastern billionaire?)...sometimes it's a case of better the devil you know if you ask me (not that any one is!)Chippenhammer wrote: Who backs the owners? Thought the fee was agreed but then Sporting moved the goalposts. We then dug our heels in.west ham15 wrote:The fee has never been agreed by the looks of it we are to tight to pay 2m-3m extra !
It's a bit like Lacazette was (reportedly) last summer.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
You have to laugh at that fee for Oxlade Chamberlain.
Bang average, injury prone and out of contract next season.
Arsenal must be pretty happy with that return

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
So with Palace, Swansea and Spurs doing business today do we expect to be bottom 3 in the 'net spend' table tonight then?
