I would imagine the massive wages given to them was the selling point. It has zero to do with 1 or 2 additional signings.

The manager isn't the problem, the owners are the problem

And if they did sack him, who the **** would be stupid enough to work for these lying scum?[/quote]

Chalks - Yes I agree the owners are the problem - but I don't go much on Bilic either. And there will be some one who would be stupid enough to work for them - cos there always is.

The owners are ultimately to blame as they are in charge, but Bilic is not blameless. Far from it

I hope this doesn't just turn into a 'who do we need as manager?'

The manager is not the problem. I'm ****ing sick of it. Right now, I don't really care. I'd just like whatever needs to happen to,cost these sharks as much money as possible and have them f*** off.

I never wanted to leave Upton Park but I could choke it to see more players like Payet arrive. Since we've moved, the squad has actually got weaker. I'd be very surprised if we're good enough to avoid relegation this year...and frankly, we deserve it.

Missing out on the loan fee and wages etc ;)

A bit of balancing.... can't have too high a net spend

Fernandes is a full international with 31 apps for us.

So 21 then... plus the likes of Haksabanovic, Rice, Martinez and Trott getting squad experience.

Sad times all round, never felt more 'distant' from the club than now. Really is amazing how people could or are still willing to not blame the board. Ridiculous. Also for what its worth, i think Slav should go too. It is criminal that our team is so ****ing unfit and void of ideas. Not that i am some sort of footballing expert but its there for all to see. End of last season warning signs were all there.

FWIW i like SB but really need someone new, but what is the point if they are getting absolute f*** all of a chance from above.

I WISH slav or a player would do an expose on the internal stuff. We could all club together and pay the fine / lawsuit.

Noralorra love for Ross.

I liked the bit when Jim White says ' Well these sort of things can happen on Transfer Deadline Day , Farhad , even £35 million pound transfers ' - he loves it does old Jim . :)

TTS...

The manager becomes a problem when the owners want rid of him. They clearly want to blame him for any mess, they don't want to spend anymore money. Regardless of what we think of Bilic, if they don't want him here then he shouldn't be here, whether it's right or wrong, as we will just carry on how we are.

Sums up my thoughts completely. I didn't even bother watching on Saturday, in nearly 40 years I've never felt like this.

There's some kind of heart wrenching irony that when the OS was announced I thought maybe some billionaire would come in for us and sure we'd spend mega bucks and win trophies but I'd feel distant and removed from the club I've loved all my life.

Turns out Gold and Sullivan didn't need to sell the club to do that.

QUINA STAYING PUT

Domingos Quina is staying at West Ham after his proposed loan to Sheffield United was called off, Sky Sports News understands.
He'll be like a new signing.
