Apparently we've agreed in principle with Dortmund but are still ironing out some of the finer details.
Fair enough. I thought he'd been in Switzerland a few days. I'm getting impatient haha.

Apparently, he said he wanted to play until he's 41. I can imagine it, and I can imagine him maintaining very high levels of fitness. So he should easily prove a good return, even at that price.

We will likely sign him when he's 42.

Are we any closer to signing Yarmolenko yet? There's been pictures of his agent at our hotel in Switzerland, yet this medical and announcement seem to be taking an age.

I suspect the 'finer details' are down to the fact all the medical resources are being devoted to Sully, cos his heart must be half way down the autobahn under its own momentum by now with the shock of all this money being offered for players. I reckon when he gave Pellers his budget notice little Jack had written 3 extra 0s on the end of the figure for a laff.

Not a chance. Doesn't work like that.

They will barely get £5m back in extra shirt sales/numbering.

Thankfully, if we do get Yarmalenko over the line soon then we would have done most of our business before the market starts getting crazy due to clubs having more money once the domino effect of a big player moving starts. Add to that the inflation that comes towards the end of the window, just dont want to jinx us getting Yarmie.

Which is exactly why Ex said that he couldn't really discuss what happened, only that Payet's leaving was entirely "self inflicted".

He's arguably still the best player in the World, and will probably still be playing until he's 40.

Even at 33 I'd say it represents a great deal on and off the pitch for the Italians.
Unfortunately, that isn't how shirt sponsorships work. Once a team takes a sponsor the sponsor gets the revenue from the shirt sales. So, if Nike was their sponsor they are paying them... whatever like 80M for 10 years or something. They get a percentage per season that is worked out in the contract then Nike sells the shirts for Juve. Maybe they get a percentage off each sell but it isn't much as they have already paid for the contract.

Mate he asked what the rumor was so I told him what the rumor was. I'm not going to get sued for telling someone about a rumor that's been floating around for 2 years...

Sorry lads been busy

Fernandes bid accepted but player has decided to stay with Sporting

Mawson bid was accepted but the availability of the Paraguayan changed things

Sturaro bid was accepted last week but we stalled to see what Seri was up to there has been no increased offer it's 17 million euros and will now be completed

Anderson bid accepted club are negotiating personal terms

The others i.e. Yarmelenko and the Paraguayan I have no idea about if I'm honest
