Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 11 days remaining
Possibly also seen enough of the young players and theres some West Ham XI games back here in England. So perhaps Holland and Hak will be included in them.
I would guess as you say the other 4 must have moves in the pipeline

Have to say i am a bit disappointed that Holland hasn't featured in the last couple of friendliesBury Me @ The Boleyn wrote:Byram

Have all been left off the list of players going to Austria, apparently. Kouyate and Obiang both on the plane.
Would guess Byram, Holland, and Sead Haks are destined for loans. Would guess Oxford and Fernandes are slated to be sold. Would guess we'll get whatever we can for Hugill (a loan, I'm guessing?).
...Curious about what that means regarding Obiang and Kouyate.

Holland and Haks are the two I'd most like to see stick around, so I hope you're right!
In other news, seems like this confirms that Cullen will be part of the squad this season. Chuffed for him.

I've asked about Cullen a few times in this thread recently but nobody has commented. Just wondering whether there is still a general hope that he could develop into a first-teamer with us and have a career with us? Most people seemed to think he'd be sold for as little as £2m but Pellers seems to like him so he must be recognising some promise/potential, rather than him just being a stop-gap?
Very happy for him if so, he's a proper Hammer and a relative local boy.

Watching in preseason, he reminds me a bit of Noble -- will cover every blade of grass, not afraid to get stuck in, definitely going to put in a shift any time he's called upon.
It's hard to say for sure whether or not he'll be part of the squad long term, but there are things about him I do really like. He's also quite calm on the ball in addition to some of the things I've mentioned above.
I'd like to see him continue to develop and maybe work his way into the permanent first team discussions. I'm not convinced he's quite there yet, but even watching him this preseason vs. last preseason, the difference is night and day.

I don't see anything in him personally. Think he lacks a bit of bitesteveyrockstar wrote:I've asked about Cullen a few times in this thread recently but nobody has commented. Mitrovic just went from the Geordies to Fulham for 22m.

Just like if we sign Joao Mario, this doesn't improve them from last season. Only eats up a big chunk of their transfer budget.Bury Me @ The Boleyn wrote:Mitrovic just went from the Geordies to Fulham for 22m.

Not to mention the fact there's a high possibility that at least 2-3 fringe players will be sold on.pezza20 wrote:I just want to remind people don't believe what you read about D and S having to put their hands in their pockets.
We made a 40m profit last year and probably a bigger one this year, baring in mind we recouped large fees for sales in January and spent nothing, so assume minimum 65m in profit.
The 95m so often banded around is the full value over their contract life, so you could summize they've only spent around c 40m on purchases and agent fees. There is definitely more money available for outright purchases, if Pell wants to make them, and I think he will.

Guardian saying 15 rising to 20. At 25 its a No but he is less of a risk than Diop or Balbuena. I think Fulham and Wolves will do well this year.Bury Me @ The Boleyn wrote:[

We have missed a trick here.

That seems like a very fair price for a young English CB that has shown he can hack it at the PL-level.Marky wrote:Guardian saying 15 rising to 20. At 25 its a No but he is less of a risk than Diop or Balbuena. I think Fulham and Wolves will do well this year.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 11 days remaining
At £15m I can see Spurs buying him and then selling Alderweild to Man Utd for about £40m. They'll probably also buy Shaw for about £15m and then sell Rose for about £40m too. Exactly the kind of wheeling dealing that's been alluded to in this thread.Marky wrote:

Walker out £50m - Trippier in £3m
Rose out £40m - Shaw in £15m
Would they be weakened too much ? (And no I'm not comparing Mawson to Alderweild)
