His agent has been shopping him around for the past year, IIRC.

So that is now two players Hernandez and Arnautovic who have agreed deals with clubs overseas but not bothered to ask the club or the manager if they can leave first... not hard to see why so many are losing heart with the game is it.[/quote]

The majority are mercenaries these days no class and no respect for their paymasters

Perhaps they aren’t impressed with our first class training facilities and Olympic stadium.

It's worth remembering that all the worthwhile gossip in the summer broke from "other" sources - bits and pieces in the French, Italian and even Paraguayan press. Some deals just came out at the least minute as well.

The change of management seems to have stopped the leaks and only obvious 2+2s like PL Bosmans, spare parts and relegated players were mentioned.

I also suspect that Pellegrini will know exactly who he wants if Arnautovic and/or Hernandez are off - and Obiang for that matter.

Mendes at Lille is going somewhere. Batshuayi is going somewhere etc - but not many clubs have access to the ready cash to make things happen in January.

Can't help thinking if we attempted a deal like that with a selling club for player we wanted on those terms, they would tell us to do one

Offer Tottenham Carroll now that Kane is injured
Trick them or something, use force if necessary
