From El Faro de Vigo too:

Mouriño sends a warning to Valencia:

The president of Celta warns that they should get closer to the price of the Maxi clause and lower their claims for Mina

17.06.2019 | 12:37

In case there were few doubts about how complicated and long the negotiation between Celta and Valencia is presumed, Carlos Mouriño made it clear this morning during an act that the Celtic Foundation has held in Mos.

The president of Celta has taken for granted the interest of one team in taking Santi Mina and the other in buying Maxi Gómez, but Mouriño understands that the positions are still very far and sends a clear message to Valencia.

In the eyes of Mourinho, "Valencia has to get much closer to the termination clause of Maxi to be able to take it." The price of the striker is 50 million euros and so far Celta has already said no to offers of 32.5 that has received in recent days. At the same time, Mouriño said about Santi Mina that Valencia must lower its pretensions a lot.

Once again it is clear that although they are separate operations it is inevitable to link them and that both clubs must agree on the value they give to each of the players and then compensate the difference with money. And that's where the battle will be in the coming weeks. It is expected quite long negotiation. While the players wait. They have decided what their preferences are and now they only need their teams to agree.

Always have a good chuckle at their polls though. Over 1,000 West Ham United supporters think Pel & Anderson were lured by Stratford station & the “London” bit on the badge....

God only knows how we managed to entice Paolo, Tevez, Payet...

Some media on the net named Luis Muriel (from Sevilla on loan in Fiorentina last season) as a possible alternative as a striker for West Ham... so, we could begin to forget it:

Muriel got injured in his knee with Colombia:

We're apparently (according to Ex) interested in Venezuelan winger Jefferson Savarino, who currently plays in America for Real Salt Lake. Will be also playing in the copa america

That guy Savarino do not impress me... C´mon, there are better ones outhere... (Yeferson Soteldo, for example, who is venezuelan also and plays in Brazil)

PD: Meanwhile, ManU and PSG in taks for Wissam ben Yedder... :asleep: :thdn:

Only way I can see us signing that Savarino is if we're getting in on the whole sign 'em and loan 'em trade that all the big clubs do these days.

Wouldn't be the worst if he's available for that small a fee. Pretty safe you'll make a profit and you might have a replacement ready to step in in a year or two for Antonio or Yarmolenko who both turn 30 this season.

It’s not a mistake to sell a player if he wants to leave, when or if Barca psg man utd want a player from a club of our stature we can’t do anything, apart from get the highest price possible, whilst scouting his replacement elsewhere.

Of course at this stage we don’t know if this is just agent talk we will find out soon enough.I really like Diop I said he was a good signing last year, the fee his age potential etc...exactly the type of signings we should be making! no more old past it players wanting a retirement package from us.

I feel like people (and sky) are making a lot more out of this Diop interest than necessary. He’ll stay.
