I wasnt that much in here, so, I did not read all the posts (if reposted), but...

Media in Germany said...
date, July 15, 11:10: West Ham United has apparently increased its offer, as the "Daily Mail" reports. After Eintracht had rejected the offer for 40 million euros, the English club now offers 45 million euros. In addition, Sebastien Haller should get a special exit clause, which allows him to switch to a top club, if a suitable offer is received, according "Kicker.de". He should earn seven million euros, more than twice as much as Frankfurt offered him.

You're thinking of Leandro Ulloa, Pelle used to play for Southampton.

well over...

English international = 40M+
I reckon Abraham would cost £25m - if he's available. The bigger issue is whether Chelsea would be willing to let him go in light of their transfer ban. He yet may have an important bench role to play for them this season.

Also, I don't think his solitary cap based on a rich but short vein of form for Swansea 2 years ago quite quantifies him as an England international just yet. It remains to be seen whether he can be a 'new' Bent/Defoe rather than a Gayle/Bamford.

I think this botched signing of Gomez and now Heller will hurt us. Husillos is worrying me a bit as he is ignoring the obvious ie players who realistically want to sign for us

Didnt Wolves have a deal in place for 18mil? And I dont think an extra half a season with villa would have caused his value to go up 7mil. Purely as we knew he could already score at that level

perhaps he wasn't bought for footballing reasons...
I've been taxing my brain trying to understand why we bought him and why we paid so much..
Surely he wasn't bought to head our attax?

stevey

I don't know different but if you look earlier when I posted, Swansea turned down 15M for Oli McBurnie and want 20M

he played @ Barnsley and admittedly scored 9 in 17, but he has hardly had a stellar loan career.

Bristol Rovers, Newport County, Chester.

scored 22 in 58 @ Swansea but then went to Barnsley, B.R. and Newport.

20M

Abraham scored 25 in 37 at Villa, 5 in 31 @ Swansea and 23 in 41 @ Bristol City.

so I can see upwards of 30+M

Hammers defender departs

West Ham are tonight understood to have sold Sam Byram for around £750,000 although the club is keeping his destination quiet until the buying club have made the announcement.

Another £25,000 off the wage bill. We’re saving an absolute fortune this summer.

Must be making way for Higuain :D

But seriously, was just thinking the same. We're sweeping the board with the wages.

I’ve seen a bit of Abraham and don’t see what all the fuss is about personally.

Tweeted about 10 minutes ago by Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian.

@JacobSteinberg: “West Ham are increasingly confident of signing Sebastien Haller after holding positive talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over the striker today. Hopeful they can conclude the deal within the next two or three days #whufc”

Sounding promising people! Desperately trying not to get my hopes up too soon :D

Also, Inter’s talks for Lukaku aren’t going well which potentially delays any Man Utd move for Haller...
