Cheeky bit of Jacob Steinberg:
I don’t like being a heartbreaker but the deal isn’t 100% done yet. Haller is on his way to London, terms all agreed with player and Frankfurt, but there is concern at West Ham at late interest in the striker from elsewhere. Am told his agent is in talks with another club #whufc

Jacob Steinberg reporting that, although he's on his way over, his agents are in talks with another club and that we're worried about it.

---------------------------------Fabianski/Roberto/Martin
-------------------------Balbuena/Reid-------------Diop/Ogbonna
Zabaleta/Fredericks/Johnson-----------------------------------Masuaka/Cresswell
--------------------------------------Rice/Sanchez/Oxford
----------------------------Noble/Obiang
----------------------------------------------------------Lanzini/Fornals/Wilshere
Yarmolenko/Snodgrass------------------------------------------F.Anderson/Diangana
--------------------------------Haller/Antonio/Hernandez/Silva
Looking at this, I'd say that I'd still like an upgrade on Noble/Obiang and a spare striker meaning that Antonio could be free'd up to cover the wide positions along with Fornals.
An improvement on Sanchez would be nice, but given that we still have Obiang hopefully not essential.
I can still see the club trying to swap both Hernandez and Obiang for players who better fit our system. Otherwise I can't really see too much more business being done.
The big thing is going to be avoiding injuries - last year we had Wilshere, Yarmolenko, Reid, Sanchez, Carroll and Lanzini who missed most, if not all the season. That's always going to be tough for a squad to cope with and we still have most of those players coming back from serious lay-offs.

The final contract he signs will be more relevant than usual given the talk of release clauses – it does mean it could become more akin to a glorified loan if things go well.
Will be curious to see what comes out in the wash.

I'll be so gutted if this is hijacked from us at the last minute.

The Darren Bent deal where his agents practically told him to put down the pen as Spurs had made an offer and they all piled out.

It's probably Valencia just trying to get their own back.

Man Utd I would expect. Or Inter if the Lukaku deal is off.

As with all our potential signings, I never get my hopes up until it’s announced. I suggest you all do the same.

Why do they always leave us do all the donkey work and then just swoop in like that, is it Sully dithering or what
