The suspense is too much
Saw a tweet from some1 who does seem to be ITK when something has happened but not yet been officially announced

He was our 2nd leading scorer the previous season again with far less playing time than the man ahead of him.

Hernandez has not been a perfect fit given our struggles in possession and tendancy to have to resort to lumping it up front, but he's still been quite effective when he plays.

Dumping him for no reason when we're finally starting to build a possession based side seems weird.

I expect Haller to go into the starting XI, with Chicha as cover and occasionally playing 2 up top against certain opponents.
He's still a decent finisher but has no pace, strength or height and doesn't contribute a great deal to the team other than a fairly paltry number of goals. I'm not saying he's awful by any means but he's certainly nowhere near good enough to justify £140K a week IMO

Those wages could be much better spent on a replacement in my view

Have you seen the attacking midfielders and wingers we now have....Wilshere, Fornals, Nobes, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Antonio...and you think pellers will go and squeeze in Hernandez 8-)

Competition is important. Hernandez ain’t no proper lcompetition to Haller, not least because they are polar opposites in playing style. Once Haller is confirmed, they will work on selling Hernandez and getting another striker or two in. Someone big and strong, similar to Haller.

Iglesias?
Marega?
Dzeko?

… and do we still have that spare pair of Sullivan's trousers to hang up in the window of the examination room to cut out the daylight ?

He will be playing second fiddle to our new striker and will at best get around 5-10 starts and mainly be used as a sub.

It is a total and utter no brainer to move him on now.
So if we’re rating him about £10m, and roughly £6m on wages, I seriously doubt we could get anyone for £16m (fee and wages for the year) that would be as good as him in terms of being an out and out natural striker

I reckon there's still a big name loan to come in yet (or a free on massive wages)

Also wouldn't be surprised to see a fellow Chilean come in at some point. We've been linked with 3 of them now.

Ex is now backtracking slightly

This is his response to someone stating that they will not believe it until he puts pen to paper...

Not sure that's backtracking as such – a medical doesn't guarantee he's ultimately going to sign.

I won't believe it until we see webcam footage and the Daves giving him a welcome to West Ham dildo.

I was thinking of that CB who ended up choosing Wigan(?) over us, I think he scored a decent goal against us from a corner too.

(This could all be in my head)

We're waiting on Hendrick to finish his medical so we can make a double signing announcement.
