Is fair enough, though.

Not really something that can be helped.

It's about time we started moving a bit quicker. We can take another look at EG in Jan maybe.

Good.

I think that we can do better. Just because he was a big name at Chelsea does not neccessarily make him right for us.

We need a left back more than we need Gudjohnsen.

Player in being turned down by West Ham for injury problems shock.

Would be seriously pissed off.

As much as I would like Gudjohnsen as he is class who would you want us to sign a player with a serious injury problem (if this report is true)?

No I wasn't saying that.

Firstly I was saying I thought we loved an injury prone player

And I meant I would be disappointed if this is true because I so wanted him here.

Let's really pee the Geordies off and activate the Martins clause!

Given that Curbs will probably only bid for PL players, who are the likely candidates?

The Yak - the favourite, the jury is out though.
Anelka - He is due a move as he been at a club for longer than 3 weeks!
Johnson - He probably wouldn't join us as Everton are a better bet unless he wants to move back down south
Defoe - Has already rejected the chance apparently so unlikely.
Crouch - Apparently peed off at Liverpool
Owen - Would he like a move down south?

Anyone else?

Curbishley can't see beyond his nose when it comes to transfers, we need to cast the net a lot wider.

Elmander is my choice. Curbs will probably go for Vassell or someone tho.

Since he came to the Prem, Yakubu's record is:

03/04 - 19 goals
04/05 - 17 goals
05/06 - 19 goals
06/07 - 16 goals

which is pretty impressive even if he does look awful whenever I see him play!
