Problem is that if we are waiting til nearer the end of the window in order to try to get him fit, and he does not make it, we have no time left in which to get someone else in. I hope we get him - assuming fitness improves, but don't want us to miss out altogether due to waiting too long. I would happily have Anelka instead.

Pretty much self explanatory, we have other signings on the way, apparently foreign and thats why we're playing so relaxed about our 2 'main' targets. I think EG is more likely to come in January, just my opinion.

Muchie - can you give us any more info on these possible foreign signings pls? Also. if what you said is true, that would mean no Shorey?

Shorey wouldn't come here with the start Reading have made. He wasn't likely to come anyway really, slightly bigger pay packet.

All I've heard are a couple (foreign) could be on the way, don't expect more than 3, but remember Eggy saying a signing that will show our ambition?

no foreign softies out of those three, vagner love can be quite tasty, and he's pretty well-built like Rooney. The other two can hold their own, and Chiellini is pretty physical.

GO ON EGGY ! :D

I can't see it happening this transfer window if he's injured. I say that Eggy saves his money and waits til January before buying him.

According to the sources of Visir.is, Bellamy and Ljungberg have urged Eggert to seal the Eidur deal.

Journo - it seems pretty obvious that we want EG, but does EG actually want to come to us?
