Fair is fair... Faubert was really solid defensively when he came on and put in a few fantastic tackles... I almost heard the groans from here when he came on but fair play to him.

Bellamy never stops, I'm very pleased for him that he got a couple more goals and even for Carlton... it wasn't a wonder strike lol but shirley it's got to give him something mentally?

Defense is great...away from home we can be absolutely fantastic but we have to pick up that confidence at home to keep the run going for sure.

I feel sorry for Sears... this would've been the perfect game for him to come on. Behrami picked up a yellow and never stops running so there's always a chance he could leave a foot in by accident and nip the red card... Sears on for Behrami, drop Cole back a bit just to hold up the ball and release Freddie and Bellars all night long. Oh well.

Could be top half after Stoke, this league is odd at the moment but WBA, Stoke and imo Pompey will go down.
We should be thinking of beating last seasons finish.

Slightly fortunate win, but as any West Ham will tell you, no matter how hard you work you're strikers need to score the goals.

Green - Dealt with everything that came his way after the first goal 8.
Illunga - Bit suspect at times, but looked competent enough 7.
Upson - Solid as usual 7.
Davenport - Looks more impressive each week 7.
Neill - Think he gave the pen away? Not sure. Apart from the pen he was solid 7.
Collison - Excellent play by the youngster. Made his own luck for the first goal and unlucky to score a second 8.
Parker - My MOM. Got stuck in a bossed midfield 9.
Behrami - Not his usual all action performance 7.
Noble - Don't understand this boy. Used to be so energetic and passionate. Now he doesn't even mark (no pun intended) 3.
Bellamy - Great show by the striker, nice composure for the first goal. Hope this doesn't inflate interest from other clubs 8.
Cole - After his goal started playing with some confidence. Nice header put Bellamy though in first half, although leaves a lot to be desired 7.
Faubert - Good performance, hopefully the bench warming has done him some good 7.
Boa Morte - Excellent assist, looked a lot sharper too 7.
Tristan - Not enough time unfortunately.

Could this kick start us to get some wins under our belt?
Surely even CFC and Bellers will be resurged after this win. Some good performances all round, even Boa Morte brought me some joy.
Well done lads, but lets keep this up for the next game.

Agreed. Some of the tackling in the second half was outstanding. He's looking good alongside Collison (outstanding yet again), Noble (Getting back to his old self again) and Behrami (getting better as the season progresses).

Smart move with the yellow card. If it was a deliberate ploy to get his tally back to zero knowing he'd miss the Barnsley match then well played to him.

Parker looked determined to break one of the Pompey players! Each one a good, solid challenge if you ask me.

We used to be energetic and passionate about him too. Now though all those fickle morons have jumped ship to celebrate the likes of Collison leaving poor old Noble unable to do anything without people questioning his place in the team. You can hardly blame him for losing some of the hunger about him playing in front of so many idiots.
