West Ham Utd 1 Bolton 2 (06/03/10)
Never started a match thread.
The reason I am jumping in here is because I can't recall hating a tin pot club so much and wanting to thrash a team so bad.
West Ham you'd better be up for this.
4-1 win (please)!!!!!!

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
Hasnt the main justification for hating them departed - and now joined Blackburn?
They certainly have always been a horrible, niggly, thuggish side. And we have a terrrible record agaisnt them, especially in lancs. But all that may change with Coyle.
That said, 3 points, and a clean sheet would be wonderful.
Id like to see us line up, and play, as we did agaisnt Hull. If anything we should be looking to get more width than we did then.

They are beatable now. Coyle is a decent manager, however, we can turn them over.

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
For me, I so hope we beat them as a result of one of the most indescribably stupid refereeing mistakes imaginable. And that we do it one nil having played utterly appallingly all match.
Nothing would cheer me more than their being relegated in that way.
I hate them that much.

You've missed the bit about the goal being a Davies own goal - chipping his own keeper from the Half way line - shown over and over again on MOTD .prophet:marginal wrote:For me, I so hope we beat them as a result of one of the most indescribably stupid refereeing mistakes imaginable. My cousin (who's a Spud) made me laugh. Their chant to their fans: 'What time's your minicab?'

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
bad feeling about this - we should win - but then again, we should always win against this lot.
Was up there in December and we never seem to get the rub of the green with'em.
Fear it could be 1-2 to them.

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
They cannot score - 1 in 600 minutes should allow even our defence a little respite - they are beginning to stroke it round well and Klasnic looks good for them
2-1 to les Pride de la Londres

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
For the first time, I am confident we will beat them. Coyle plays proper football, not a physical long ball game which is (in my opinion) why we lose to them so often. I think we have better players than them, so I predict another 3-0 win. I ****ing hope so anyway. COYI!!!!!!!
Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
I just hope Carlton doesn't get one of the standard issue West Ham injuries while on national team duty.

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
Bolton are really dirty bastards. We must not allow ourselves to be muscled off the ball like we did against Everton. I can see a Bolton player getting a red card.

Re: West Ham v Bolton Match Thread
I reckon we have a good chance of scoring more goals than they have fans supporting them at the game.
3:0 should do it.
