Pinky,
no keeper on the bench, isn't it a little early to roll the dice. Understand the thinking though by adding the extra outfield player, creates more ability to change the situation inthe match if needed. Good line up though if Nolan isn't rested..

No keeper .They rarely get injured ( Green was sick last season in one game) , the bigger risk is if they get sent off and a reshuffle is needed .
If we are struggling with 11 players God help us with 10 , so for me I'd roll the dice .
4-5-1 isn't something I am a fan of, but I'll live with it away from home .
i';d sooner we drop nolan than noble, lansbury needs to play centrally not on the wing, bentley sounded poor last night? we need taylor cos i think we have been relying on set pieces for goals a lot already
Just out of curiosity, if we didn't have a keeper on the bench and Green got injured, does anyone know which outfield player would go in goal. When was the last time that even happened.

I went to see Brighton play Palace last night and thought that defensively Palace looked very poor, but in Wilfred Zaha, they have a very, very good striker who will cause a lot of teams problems this season.

Interestingly, I was told by a mate who's seen you a couple of times this season that you were pretty poor at the back! Should make for a good game?
Pick the team that won 4-1 at Forest if all available. Faye for Reid would be the only change to consider.
The new signings and loans have added squad depth but have also confused thought. Sometimes all it needs is to go back and look at the winning team sheet, in this case an away game at Forest.

There's a player Easter (?) my Palace supporting mate's told me to keep an eye out for. Does Nathaniel Clyne still play for you?
Errrrm, Easter... he's OK... unless your mate was being sarcastic!
Clyne does still play for us, last year of his contract, and he's injured at the moment, though could be available for selection against you on Saturday. Unlikely though.

Bywater was the last keeper to come on IIRC, maybe Sasic. The last outfield player to play in goal was Dicksy when Ludo was sent off.

Good call. Not as if we'd miss him playing outfield.
I'd bring in Diop as the defensive midfield player we've been missing since Parker left. I'd play Noble there if I thought he had the discipline to perform the role (unfortunately, I'm not sure he does).
We need more width and pace in the middle so Taylor plays left (if fit) and Faubert plays right. Both of these have got to get more crosses in for Cole and Nolan. Assuming Nolan is in as skipper, I'd stick Lansbury in with him with the instruction to do a bit more donkey work please.
Leave the back line, although I am keen to see Demel play and Faye worries me with his lack of pace but I'll leave it as it is for now.
