Spain are starting with no strikers today so fabregas looks a great bet for first scorer

Re: Official Betting Thread
Anybody bet on the tennis today? I was on betfred and at one point (2 sets down) they had Djokovic at 10 -1 to win!!
Mad odds, even at 2 sets down, the bloke never knows when he's beaten...........

I've got 50-1 (only for £5) about Djokovic (2 sets down and a break down at the time) As you say, the heart of a lion. 50/50 whether to trade this out now.
10-1 was rather mean odds really hess......at that point in time..

That is seriously good odds you got there then! Hmm, maybe I was mugged off with the 10-1 then! I actually still thought it was fairly stupid odds, as if anyone can turn that game around, he can.davids cross wrote:

Tough call for you there, I would imagine that the sensible call is to lay it off so that you definitely make money whoever wins. Having said that, I fancy that the game has swung Djokovic's way now..........

Re: Official Betting Thread
hess,
have you got a Befair account ? The odds are much bigger on there compared to bookmakers, generally speaking of course.
I've traded out on the match, a nice profit on both Nadal and Djokovic, over £100 whoever wins now.... I thought Djokovic would have won had the match continued last night. I suppose anything can happen now, rain forecast for today though.

It's not to my taste but if you like that you might also be tempted by 29/1 on RVP winning golden boot on Betfair. None of the other contenders have really stolen a march on him and if you fancy the Dutch to still go far should be quite a bit of value in it.Yea Why Not wrote:The Dutch have dropped to 14/1. Worth a 10a.....

Nah, I haven't! I know I need to get on there. Have a few mates who do gamble a fair bit and they swear it's the only place to gamble on. I'll get myself sorted and get an account on there.davids cross wrote:hess,

Good work laying the bet off! Like you say tidy little profit you made there.
Agreed I think the match was going to Djokovic if they had continued yesterday. Gutted that I'm at work and not going to be able to see the rest of the match!

YWN
Your best bet would be to lump a fair bit on him, say £20 @ 29s and lay in play, rather than an e/w bet at lower odds.
He scores 2/3 goals in the next 2 games, his odds will drop significantly. leaving the difference in odds x £20
