Indeed
A little inclined to start Collison for this one, thought he was fantastic against Burnley. The loan seems to have done him the world of good. As long as he starts putting his laces through the ball and stops trying to dribble it into the goal, he could be a dark horse this season.

If as it sometimes appears we are treading water waiting for Carroll's return, then this game needs to be when the players show what they are made of.
Three defeats at home on the bounce is never good, but in all honesty Stoke was the abysmal performance that sometimes happens. Everton was our annual bogey fixture at home and Man City is not a game that I could walk away from saying I expected better than that.
Tomorrow however is a different story. I don't go with there are easy games in the Premier League but this is a game I expect our players to have the right attitude for. Hopefully with the right attitude and a bit of class we get the win we badly need.

Stewart Downing will win it for us if anyone can. Up against his former club who have injury problems at left back. He has looked very dangerous when he gets on the ball recently.

Only if he got some sort of bed sore as a result of not moving about enough on Tuesday.

We shouldn’t be afraid of these muppets, they don’t offer anything that we don’t apart from maybe a striker that so far hasn’t set the league on fire like he did last season – he missed a penalty last week which means his confidence isn’t going to be great, and the dimmest man in football is injured. We should put them to the sword tomorrow, no excuses.

They should not be underestimated.
In their first 9 games they have played
Arsenal, Chelsea, Spuds, Liverpool, Everton and Man City
and 2 of their other 3 games were away
Probably the toughest start of any team in the league
And they have done OK
They have got 10 points which is more than most teams would have from that set of fixtures.
They are particularly dangerous on the breakaway.
I will be glad to get through this game without a slip-up

So much unnecessary stick for Diame when everyone was crap first half at Burnley. Get over it, he starts.

Huge game for us tomorrow. Diame really disappointed me with his last performance. I'm hoping for better this time around but I don't see Sam benching him.

Some tube disruption tomorrow:
District line
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November, no service between Dagenham East and Upminster. Replacement buses operate. This is while we carry out line improvement work at Upminster and drainage replacement work at Elm Park
Replacement buses operate
Dagenham East - Elm Park - Hornchurch - Upminster Bridge - Upminster
Central line
Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November, no service between Bethnal Green and Loughton / Woodford (via Hainault) except before 0800 Sunday, when there is no service between Liverpool Street and Loughton / Woodford (via Hainault). Replacement buses operate. This is while we replace track and points in the Leytonstone area and carry out station improvement work at Buckhurst Hill
Service A: Woodford - Roding Valley - Chigwell - Grange Hill - Hainault - Fairlop - Fullwell Cross - Barkingside - Newbury Park - Ilford (for Greater Anglia)
Service B: Newbury Park - Gants Hill - Redbridge - Wanstead - Snaresbrook - Walthamstow Central (for Victoria line and Greater Anglia)
Service C: Loughton - Buckhurst Hill - Roding Valley - Woodford - South Woodford - Snaresbrook - Leytonstone - Leyton- Stratford (for Jubilee line, DLR and Greater Anglia)
At busy times, bus journeys between Leyton and Leytonstone may experience significant delays due to heavy traffic in the area. For journeys to/from central London, you may find it faster to travel via Chingford, Ilford or Walthamstow Central for Victoria line or National Rail services
Service D: Leytonstone - Stratford (for Jubilee line, DLR and Greater Anglia)
Service E: Woodford - South Woodford - Snaresbrook - Walthamstow Central (for Victoria line and Greater Anglia)
Service F: Loughton - Chingford (for Greater Anglia)
