Though I would love it if we did get ahead, I think they might fall apart.
Trouble is, Hull are crap at the moment and won't beat man u.

Hahah
Ashley and the dildo daves do a deal, carver amd sam get sacked, tell the FA there was a case of match fixing and accept a slap on the wrist for coming clean, Ashley and the dildos get a 5 stretch in Wandsworth, both clubs are deducted 15 points and relegated

Whilst I would be quite happy to send the bar codes down, I do remember in 2003 when we were about to play Birmingham Steve Bruce was less than complimentary to us!

well that makes me feel a lot better about Hull's (almost) inevitable demiseFrankieMacsPerm wrote:Whilst I would be quite happy to send the bar codes down, I do remember in 2003 when we were about to play Birmingham Steve Bruce was less than complimentary to us!

Nailed on for Nolan to get his 100th goal and help to send Newcastle down

Tell the steward you have a bad back/knee/ankle and they may let you use the lift. I did that last time, you might not be as good as fluttering your eyelashes as me thoughRomford wrote:

Re: Newcastle v West Ham Utd: match thread
Crappy dead rubber game, at the end of a truly uninspiring season, which petered out after our cup defeat.
No interest in relegating either Hull or Newcastle, for no reason other than I don't have any interest in seeing us relegate or save teams. Its no reason to take an interest.
I say, we should give Burke, Oxford, and Poyet a bit of game time. Allow Carlton one final hurrah if thats to be his last game in a West Ham shirt, and lets just end this season which in reality ended on Valentine's Day up at the Hawthorns.

We can't, sadly.Het-Field wrote:I say, we should give Burke, Oxford, and Poyet a bit of game time.
We have a duty to the other teams in the league to put out our strongest available side.
Hope many remember this before being too harsh on the manager for not approaching it 'with nothing to lose'.

Is that still the case?
Maybe it is in the PL but I've seen plenty of clubs in the lower divisions putting out weakened sides. Swindon once the knew they couldn't get automatic promotion were putting out half a reserve side in games to rest players.

Re: Newcastle v West Ham Utd: match thread
Surely we can put out who we want considering the form we are in. Can hardly argue that any of the players categorically deserve their place?? A few of our youngsters/squad players will actually try harder than the current crop.
Would love to see Hull go down with Bruce whinging about our team selection as a reason anyway, be good to give him something to moan about.
As for Newcastle, they absolutely deserve to go down if they can only pick up one point from a final three games made up of QPR, West Brom and this current West Ham team, while they are fighting for their life!
Sadly I can see nothing other than a Newcastle win here but as we all know, the last day of the season is totally unpredictable. The fact that it is Steve Bruce's team playing against a Man Utd team who do not need to win catches the eye, plus like others have said, if word gets through that Hull are winning it will be a very nervy stadium. (edit... it was the tyne weir derby game not relegation)
Wasn't there a riot last time they went down with some idiot punching a horse?? Could be eventful for our travelling fans.
