I once hid under Karen Brady's bed waiting for her to get undressed , imagine my horror as she shed her clothes , took off her ' Karen Mask ' to reveal her true self ....... she's a reptile , a green reptile !!
Then in walked David Sullivan and David Gold , they must have already shed their ' human skins ' outside of the bedroom , they too had green , sticky skins with some sort of goo dripping off them .
The three of them sat around a table which was situated in the middle of ' Karen's ' bedroom barely 6 feet from where I lay prone under the bed , the reptile who I knew as David Sullivan began to speak ' Those fools have fallen for our little trick once more , Humans are so stupid , two hundred thousand years they've been on this planet of theirs and they're still so , so stupid , have they learnt nothing , anyway , who shall we tell them is coming this week , David ? '.
' Oh , I don't know , tell them it's Ronaldo ' .
' Ha , Ronaldo , that's a good one , ha ha ha ha ha , yes , Ronaldo it is , put it out there , Karen ' .

NeverSayDie wrote:If that was the case they'd have paid him off a long time ago. You'd also have to ask yourself if he was only on £15k a week why did QPR only pay half that when they loaned him 2 seasons back.
I think the chances of S&G giving away a player who still had sale value are slim, at best.

As for QPR, I have no idea what financial arrangements were in place on that particular deal so couldn't really comment.

What's the logic here, Colours - because it's purportedly from who you claim it's from, they're immune from a little 'over-emphasis'?
kalashnikov wrote:Aren't most players 'basic' salaries surprisingly low? ie, guaranteed no matter what.
I'm not aware of any full time pros at West Ham over 24 who are on such a low basic. Can't speak for any other club/s though.

UTJ they just gave him away, it's a free transfer to Al Nassr. Now why on earth would we do that if the fella was only earning £15k a week? The figure I was told was £38k pw.

I do find it a little odd we haven't signed at least 1 half decent Croatian. Surely with Slaven being the ex national team manager he would have gotten a good deal somehow. Even with an up and coming prospect.
Maybe there is something in this that we don't know yet!

Because he's now in the final year of his contract.

I suspect they're not exactly rushing to trigger the two-year extension option.

I wonder who's job it is to write the press release to the fans come Wednesday morning. I guess Sulli will rustle something up on Tuesday evening on a napkin as I can't see anyone else wanting the job. Though Gold might be let out of the attic long enough perhaps to boast about all the wonderful players we have signed and Champions League here we come. Nobody has the nerve to tell him most of them never signed and Championship is more likely.

Saturday would be a good opportunity to speak to Fabio Borini. Maybe even a kidnap situation.
