Re: Summer Transfer Window 2017
Really, all of them? Last thing we need is another major squad overhaul like last summer. No reason why Snodgrass, Collins or possibly even Valencia cannot continue. In particular Collins was starting in the first team regularly in the last 3 months of the season.Lostcoco wrote:Now sell Sakho, Valencia, Snodgrass, Collins and Randolph next please

Cheers pezza
Is Nordtveit the 'interesting' potential departure you mentioned or is that someone else?

No we didn't, that was his wages.pezza20 wrote:We did get a fee for Nordveit, 4m
Valencia reportedly off to Mexico for £6m, bought for £12. Another cracking piece of business.

Wellington Paulista & Pablo Barrera.
Two infinitely worse signings for us.
As others have mentioned, was played out of position and never looked above average.
Good luck to him.

Tends to happen when you sell squad players, unless you'd rather we sell Lanzini, Obiang, Cresswell, Reid, Kouyate, Sakho, Antonio, Masuaku for significantly more than we paid for them just to highlight the good business?Hamburger wrote:Valencia reportedly off to Mexico for £6m, bought for £12. Not sure we can judge Wellington Paulista though, poor bloke never kicked a ball and it was only a loan?
Fat Boy Benni obviously makes the cut

So that's Tore, Calleri, Zaza and now Nordtveit from last summer all gone already, have I missed anyone? That's what happens when you get sh*t freebies and loans. No indication so far that this window will be any different!

I suppose this is quite sensible really, creating space in the squad and freeing up wages.

Well getting rid of the players who aren't good enough is a good way to start anyway. The improvements can come after.Macca1973 wrote:So that's Tore, Calleri, Zaza and now Nordtveit from last summer all gone already, have I missed anyone?
