Re: darts
PDC Worlds start tomorrow night. Can Taylor sign off his career with a tournament victory? I doubt it, to be honest. Had a sneaky bet on Rob Cross to win, had a brilliant 2017 and now in the World Top 20. Difficult to look past MvG though.

Agreed.SoulCircus wrote:Difficult to look past MvG though.
A total one-off, like Ronnie at snooker this bloke is a different class above the rest. He's the only one that can beat himself if his head isn't right.
Re: darts
I hope taylor loses early doors in the tournament, obviously he has done an awful lot for darts but i cannot support anybody convicted of a sexual assualt........SoulCircus wrote:PDC Worlds start tomorrow night. Re: darts
Could of won it earlier, I thought he'd missed his chance, but came back beautifully. For a bloke in his 60's that was some achievement.James P wrote:Fantastic victory for Paul Lim over Mark Webster! Great entertainment!

I've never understood why people were so willing to overlook it.Ferret wrote:I hope taylor loses early doors in the tournament, obviously he has done an awful lot for darts but i cannot support anybody convicted of a sexual assualt........

Re: darts
VIP at Ally Pall usually means the area to the other side of the walk on
You can access back stage and the practice table area etc etc
In the good old days of Circus Tavern, the VIP was great. Remember sinking a few pints with Barney, and chucking a few drunken arrows with Steve Beaton on one of the practice boards
Lakeside still the best venue though IMHO. Shame the darts has been so poor for a decade
