Through screwing down the printer's costs. Learnt his style from Lady Brady obviously. If you don't give something in a negotiation with a supplier and push them into a corner by wielding your big stick, just see how long it takes before the wheels start falling off. Brady's style with the move.

Cheers Dave I saw that.

I notice The Sun are on the March detail today. Let’s hope the build up to this is picked up by some journos not on Sullivan’s payroll.

The sponsorship? how had i forgotten the sponsorship??
Ok we haven't ever really ever had any big name sponsorship (including one season with nothing)

Worldwide iconic stadium, naming rights to follow and we still get chuff all!

the only people who will look at us now is 'prestige worldwide'

They hide behind FFP. To increase the amount we can spend commercial activities have to increase. We were promised the move would attract huge commercial opportunities due to its proximity to the City & Canary Wharf. The reality is far different. With limited corporate space and third rate offering, were not delivering the required standards for a club which is the 15th richest in the world.

Who’s in charge of overseeing the whole enterprise? The Baroness. If she were answering to anyone, she’d be fired

That is something that urgently needs addressing. Our corporate sponsorships are a disgrace, yet no more than one would expect from small time businessmen, disgracefully locked in the past and with small time minds. They still run this club like it is still locked in its lowly East End roots. Who the ****ing 'ell are ****ing Betway? The club is no longer Pie N' Mash, Jellied eels and Cockles and mussells, playing in one of the poorest and most depraved boroughs in the metropolis, if not the entire country. Sure we are run like it is, but we are not, anymore. The club is now much more than that and is far too big for their small minds ti comprehend and it is about time they realised this and we had a proper global branding to reflect this

Beaten twice conceding 3 to a newly promoted team with limited means. The owners of the 15th richest club in the world should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Headbanger

In football terms Gold and Sullivan are total failures. We could be approaching their greatest failure yet.

On the issue of decency they are also left wanting.

Couple of slimy porn barons who have cheated tax, corrupted women (even ones who have died) and contributed nothing to football. They have ruined Birmingham and now it's our turn.

Time to go. We might have to vote with our feet however. No matter how hard.

Didn't Gold once say he wouldn't hang around if he isn't wanted?

That must have been another lie 'cos you can't get more unwanted than this mate :thdn:

Dear James P

Yes I was aware of that - I chose not to mention it so as not to depress myself and others but you are right it needed to be said.

Still buggered up my evening though!

For me I think we as a fanbase need to make it clear that our resentment is not entirely financially motivated. Other clubs would likely look at us and think we're just another set of petulant fans crying about not getting exactly what we wanted - although not true.

Yes we need answers about finances and explanation on why certain promises haven't been met but for me the real issue with our board isn't about not spending money on players it's about professionalism and lies.

It's the embrassment of a teenager slagging off current and ex players and airing the clubs dirty laundry on social media. It's about the Chairman owning a company that charged fans premium rate per minute when being kept on hold for ages to buy tickets. It's about needing answers to blatant lies about the move - all promises caught on club sanctioned advertising videos and therefore ones they should be clearly accountable for. It's about the absolute tripe Brady writes in that column. It's about absolute farce around the Sporting Libel case (god knows why more hasn't been made of that absolutely ridiculous email that was supposedly written by the OWNER of our club). It's about the away fans fund a few years back and how that was "used". It's about them trying to renege on the season ticket discount deal a few years back. It's about the Tory party donation. It's about moving season ticket holders from the seats they purchased pre-season because the club was ill prepared and the stadium ill equipped for football.

I could go on forever but my point is that it's too easy to focus all of this on their failure financially. Focusing on that doesn't do justice to what an absolute shambles they are.
