They climbed back into the stands! Not a security guard near them!

And by the way, anyone who took a pop shot at them in the stand is just as bad!
The whole thing was just shambolic and embarrassing.

Everything I'm thinking has already been echoed by many on here, so in short NO, Noble wasn't right to do what he did.

His reasoning for doing what he did was bollox. The fan didn’t show any threatening behaviour towards him or any player and Mark knows full well the protest is against the board.

He’d have been better off saying I wanted to get on with the game and try and get us back into it and fans doing that ain’t helping so I lost it a bit. That’s pretty much the truth if it too I imagine.

Don't blame Mark Noble at all. He was angry we'd conceded and snapped when the muppet ran on. Big deal.

We’re losing games, we conceded yesterday. The club is toxic. Noble is both a fan and the Captain of the club and is probably devastated. We go 1-0 down and he probably wants to focus purely on getting us back in the game. Then on runs a moron and the London stadium stewards, who should have sorted it out, have left him to run around the pitch. In an effort to get the game going again and with heightened emotions both probably at the club and the stewards he reacted poorly. Do I condone it, no? Can I forgove it, yes. He could have dealt with it better but I can say that about many things in my life, as I’m sure we all can.

Yep. Or the lack of security altogether

Funny people on this thread keep calling the **** who Noble pushed a 'fan' or 'supporter' of our club. Personally ive got no time for bellends like him and would have had no problem with Ginge fly kicking him. If Noble had gone into the stands and shoved a fan then that's a different story

Noble just wanted to get on with the game it's as simple as that. Quite why people are trying to make more of it I dont know

Noble wasn't right to do what he did. And his explanations disapointed me further more.

No...he above anyone at the club, should know the anger that has been building since the move. I don’t agree with pitch invasions, but was there when we had the bond scheme debacle. West Ham fans, at their best, letting rip with passion for the club and letting the suits know why the club exists. I get his need to protect himself; people in a situation like that are unpredictable, but to play Rambo in that way was a signal of where his true loyalties lay., fan or not. Perhaps he knows what’s coming, but after his performances he doesn’t deserve to be cut any slack for that.

The fact of the situation was the first fan jogged on the pitch and had a piece of paper that he held up towards the directors box what it had on it I couldn't see from the TBL. He had jogged all the way past the middle of the pitch and there was no sign of any stewards. So Mark Noble took it into his own hands and grabbed him and pushed him to the ground. He was fuming at a steward/security man who belatedly arrived on the scene.
The second invasion was by two separate individuals who ran aimlessly round the pitch and then ran off again into the stands with no stewards trying to stop them at all.
From where I was I didn't see any retribution carried out on them at all but I was too far away.
The man who had the corner flag jogged to the flag, picked it up and more or less walked to the centre circle again no stewards or security in sight.
I was losing it in frustration at this stage and walked to the orange coated steward at the back and asked her what was going on and aren't they meant to be stopping this and she just shook her head and said no.
I walked down to the front and said to the steward sitting facing the crowd aren't you meant to be stopping people getting on the pitch and again was met by head shaking.
I said any stadium for any event I have been to if someone runs on the pitch stewards will get them either when they go on or when they are coming off, surely this is a football match and this should be happening?!?
Yes people running on the pitch are morons, but how the first one was dealt with (or not dealt with in this case) and the time he had led to the further pitch invasions in my opinion.
This was the most embarrasing part for me that we are at a stadium where there is no reaction to any unacceptable behaviour apart from the mini film from players and ex players saying we should not overstep the mark and report anyone who does.
The fact we are questioning what Noble did has only arisen due to lack of security or stewards who had the ability to deal with the incident.

I wouldn't mind betting that some people on the faraway opposite side of the pitch thought the bloke assaulted Noble and reacted to that when he re-entered the stand.

That's how I saw it but he did himself no favours in his after match interview. The idiot who ran on was the one needing protection. Have received a few messages and photos from Arsenal supporting 'friends' which I must admit do look like Noble is arse fisting said idiot.

Some right sanctimonious geezers on here. What Nobes did was totally understandable. For months now peeps have been dissing him about his football, when in fact he has been one of the best players on the pitch for us time and again. We were in a situation where we had just gone one down and he wanted to get on with trying to pull it back and maybe even win the game. After all, we had been very good in the first half and at 0-1 could have easily pulled it back. However, when the guy ran onto the pitch Nobes was organizing the team to get back in the game when suddenly this moron comes bad mouthing him and the team (Look at the way he points an accusing finger at Oggie).

Nobes just wanted to get him off so the game could continue., True, he was a bit over enthusiastic, but I didn't see any fists fly or boots go it. He was simply trying to get the idiot off the pitch.

How many of you giving him grief can honestly say you would not have done the same?

I sincerely hope the remaining games of the season are not negatively impacted by this type of fan behaviour. Ive been ashamed of our board for years but the sight of children being put in BURNLEYS dugout for their safety...a little bit of me died yesterday.

Get your ****ing act together, your not hooligans. This isnt 1982.

RE:Noble..hooligan behaviour complaining about hooligan behaviour??? Seriously. Get a grip.

That's a very good point Bubbles, at that distance it could have looked like the guy was having a go Noble and that he was defending himself.

Personally I thought it was a cowardly act by Noble, just used the situation to prove how passionate he is about the club.
A bit like his unnecessary, reckless fouls he gives away, 'because I care'.

Please, just use your brain and play football, we know you care.

Personally i dont blame Noble. Being a highly competitive person myself if i was in his shoes and some twat had entered the pitch and was running in my direction id have probably also tried to get him to piss off as quickly as possible. It's embaressing grown men can't help themselves running on a pitch. Dont get me wrong it was great to see supporters gather outside the directors box and make the owners feel uncomfortable but for me any middle aged twat immature enough to run on a football pitch when we're chasing a game fully deserves a clump

On MotD it looked like he was going to have a pop at security until Ginge held him back.

I don't think what he did was right, but I understand why he did it. People criticising his post-match comments, well if he said "Sack the board, I lost my rag" - then it would make the situation a lot worse for everyone.
