Classic David Sullivan.
It makes no difference how much a player costs, the important thing is the quality of player brought in.
Fwiw, I've never seen either of the two players but they both look at around the same level. Also, I think that we should assume that this "free player" (who are never really free anyway - can't be bothered to go into the explanations here) is one who has been scouted by the DoF and manager.
Nothing to say about Sullivan here for this particular switch of attention

This guy has been saying this for a month. Not even remotely trustworthy.
Consensus,in Italy, appears to be that we got a "green light" from Anderson and went in with a "stupidly low" offer, in the hope that no one comes in and force Lazio to accept it for an unsettled player!
To think, some people actually believe that we have a DOF and Sullivan is taking a "back seat" !!

Sullivan was always going to be doing the negotiating though, so of course nothing was going to change, apart from the players identified by Husillos.
I'd like Dragovic here. Wanted him when he went to Leverkusen in 2016, and then again when loaned to Leicester last summer. Thought he looked good for them last season when he played, except when City gave them a hiding which, to be honest, goes for pretty much anyone in the league anyway. A good tackler and reads the game well, only 27 too.
Depends on whether we're sticking with a defensive three or Pellegrini wants a pair of centre backs as to whether it's really worthwhile, though - assuming he's not looked at Reid or Ogbonna and decided he doesn't want either of them (which I would personally assume he wouldn't do given that they're both good centre backs - Reid's injury history would be the only consideration). Between those two, Diop, Rice, and Kouyate able to drop in there, I think we might just about have enough for a four man defence right now. But for a three man then we certainly could use an extra man to give us six options.
RE: Anderson, I'm just thinking, didn't Liverpool pay a similar sum for Salah last season? It's remarkable how the Neymar and Coutinho transfers (among others late last summer) have completely warped the market.

Can only mean that Pellers has made it clear that Anderson is his number 1 target, and is not backing down, whilst Sullivan is desperately trying to avoid open wallet surgery as usual.
Bruno Fernandes is one of the sporting players that was rumoured to be trying to cancel his contract isn’t he? Also if I remember correctly, his release clause was massive, something like £70m?

We'll do it wrong. Patricio will have a glorious season for Wolves and Fernandes will have us locked in a legal battle with Sporting over his contract and he'll be confined to the sidelines for 12 months and we'll have a massive settlement to pay.
