I thought it would take a miracle to make me not dislike Kane and Alli. It's taken slightly less than that. Remarkable.

Alli I get but I struggle to see how you can’t dislike Kane he is a English striker through and though. Just a shame he plays for them.the celestial insect wrote:I thought it would take a miracle to make me not dislike Kane and Alli. It's taken slightly less than that. Remarkable.

I thought Sterling had an excellent game, his best by far in this tournament. Yes he should have scored but he did far more than enough to justify his place.Cuenca 'ammer wrote: He just contradicted himself about Sterling...Kelly Smith said he's woeful let's not beat about the bush..Wrighty had already said he should have put the game away...but then says...he played well..

Sorry mate I can't see it.....not at all......
missed two sitters, one where he didn't know he was offside and the other could have seen us go in at the half ahead 2-0...
never played a cross that someone could have gotten on the end of, no through balls, after cocking up that miss he could have played the ball square to Kane but didn't....
If you could give me an idea as to his contributions I would gladly listen.....
End of the road at this stage for me...although as I said previously, well done to Southgate for sticking to his "boys" can't fault the gaffer for that...
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44753155" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
6 out of 10 along with Alli, Young and Kane...fairly accurate in their assessments of all 4 I think....
reader's rating a 5.23 - lowest of everyone.....

It's the psychological imprint over time of seeing his face in that shirt looking, to my mind, a little bit smug. Plus there's something about him that reminds me of David Cameron, though I can't say why. Maybe it's the perceived smugness.wolf359 wrote:Alli I get but I struggle to see how you can’t dislike Kane he is a English striker through and though. Just a shame he plays for them.

I shouldn't be that bothered but the shine was taken off of it for me by the fact that I don't have "proper" TV so have to watch on a stream...
So with the weather being 30C all windows down the street are fully open and it's entirely clear from the cheers down the street that a stream direct from the Beeb is a good 30-60 seconds behind terrestrial TV
Takes a bit of the spontaneity out of a goal celebration...
Outside of that, it was all a bit serene for an England quarter-final wasn't it? Weird.

I'm not excited. Why? Is it because it's West Ham or noone? Would it help if AC had nutted that one instead of Alli? I think so..
This is massive news. Semi final???! Maybe I'm just dead inside.
Im pleased we're in the semi. But I'm not going nuts about it.
Maybe the continuous disappointment of being a

Ah well , my prediction was almost right [ 3-0 ] - Sweden were what I thought they'd be only showing glimpses when they were 2-0 down - Good Luck English Kumbers !
