It's a few years old, but this is a hood analysis of Pelligrini's favoured formation:

You can plug our current personnel into the lineup in a number of different permutations. No need for the midfield destroyer or robust left back that some are calling for.

Anderson and yarmolenko will do more defensive work in the attacking half than lanzini, Antonio, or payet. Add arnie to that too and I think we'll be playing a very high tempo game this season with a high press.

How the hell did we get a work permit for Balbuena? Our lot must've done some serious groundwork to get that over the line considering he only cost £3.5m and only has 7 caps.

A question for those who think we have signed enough or even too many players so far this summer - Did you actually see how bad we were last season?

Balbueno looks like he's is ready to ****ing chomp some people down on the pitch. I am behind that 100%

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 27 days remaining
Anyone else thinking that the larger pitch at London Stadium might just turn out to be an asset this season, given we've now got the players to make use it.

Apparently as a child, Balbuena grew up playing football on the streets with the hollowed out skull of a cow.

Can anyone else think of a team who could do with an International player who can cover both CDM and Left-Back?westlondonhammer wrote:Blind going to Ajax for 14 mil rising to 18.5

I don’t think anyone’s suggesting we’ve signed too many! What I’m suggesting is that we can’t expect them all to be embedded in the first team at the same time, and that some of our existing players could and should get the chance to shine alongside them.jastons wrote:A question for those who think we have signed enough or even too many players so far this summer - Did you actually see how bad we were last season?

Drinkwater is just Noble in a prettier dress. He's in no way better than Noble, just he bought his clothes at DKNY instead of H&M.
I heard Balbuena once killed a man then scored a goal with his decapitated head.
Is this true or one of those Chuck Norris type things?somerset-hammer wrote:Apparently as a child, Balbuena grew up playing football on the streets with the hollowed out skull of a cow.

Apparently Balbuena can skin and gut a rabbit, using just his feet
