Arnie hat-trick, 1 for Yarmolenko, and 1 for Ogbonna. 2 red cards for Liverpool and a yellow for Klopp.

MOTD to put us on second last with a full 25 seconds of footage, and 45 seconds of Murphy insisting none of the bookings were valid.
A Pellers team aint gonna roll over and tell em , here you are, help yourselves. West Ham teams and managers of the past, sure, but not this one and definitely not, this guy

I hope PellBoy has a cunning plan.

If he has, we might stitch them up like Slaven did (and for all his faults, him undoing the voodoo up there was a big deal).

If he hasn't, fact is they are much better than us, and should be able to do us over 4-0 or so.

But I'll tip a 2-4 away win, PellBoy will suss Klopp out and play a back three (or six) and we'll hit them on the break again and again. Klopp will accuse us of anti-football while his dentures and hair transplant fall out during the obligatory MOTD interview. Shearer (decent striker, but let's face it, he was the worst football manager anywhere on the planet, ever, so what does he know?) will say we were lucky.

they played a high back line yesterday..

oh for Allardicci !!!!!

Go from back to front, use the midfield to win the ball back early and go long ball...have Arnie batter Van Dyke
big time...have Anderson pushed up so far their full back(s) won't be able to push up on us.

That's there thing, not only are the front 3 ridiculous, he uses the 2 full backs to make a front 5. VERY difficult to cope with..and their pace is frightening...hope Zaba doesn't start..

We’ll get smoked - central midfield is still bottom half quality - but don’t think it’ll affect our season too much. Think we’ll get by this season on the old Arsenal model of beating most of the dross and getting beat by the top 6.

I'm getting moments of optimism but then they stick 4 passed Man Utd and 5 passed Napoli.

We will have to ride our luck but we have the quality to hurt them

A front three of Arnautovic, Antonio and Anderson could exploit that. Our problems are the seven behind them, however.

Cant see Zabs starting. They have to much pace. They targeted Zabaleta last season Robertson had a field day.
Has to be Fredericks.

No Evra either unlike last season

Liverpool 0 - 1 West Ham United. Scaloni will use the video as the basis for Argentina's style of play for the next three weeks until he is sacked and replaced with a football manager.

A lot of pressure on Klopp and Liverpool this Sunday imo. He’s gone out and spent big and needs to hit the ground running to let everyone know they’re serious. It’ll go two ways, 4-0 spanking or a 1-0 away win.

I doubt a Pellers team will take a 4-0 thumping

Well, he plays a very expansive style of play. I’m intrigued in his first game if he decides to adapt to the opposition or say “*** it, we’ll also come at you”

I think we'll give them a scare...... maybe not enough to win, but we won't get dicked by a big score.

3-2 red scouse. :thdn:

One thing's for certain, if we don't win then I'm booing and shouting "Pellegrini out" as soon as I can.
