Indeed. I have no doubt Anderson will prove a good player however so many laughed at Richarlison.. younger.. already had season in England

3 in 2 thus far. Even without the goals his movement has been vital to Everton’s game

I was merely going to see who now is ready to cuss the state of the squad and manager, when only 2 weeks ago they was "well pleased" with the summer activities.

It's making an interesting comparison so far, believe me !
If we've learnt anything it's that some people can be fickle and that some will be critical or less understanding than others .
We signed a new team more or less and they're going to take time to settle down , most people will appreciate that - I suppose many of us were expecting great things from Felipe Anderson as he became our record signing , however last season's record signing took his time in getting going .

What I saw yesterday , albeit on the television and only a 20 minute screening was a lack of leadership on the pitch once we went behind - someone that galvanises the team when things go awry . Mark Noble might be thinking his time's up , everyone seemed to be looking to everyone else to do the job , some players were hiding it looked to me .

Then came the lame excuses - ' The Supporters left early ' , ' The players have to forget last season ' .

Pellegrini needs time , I really hope he gets it , he's the exact Manager we need , but this Premier League can be an unforgiving place . We need to get points on the board before we get left behind - if we do get left behind I don't think there's enough character in the Squad to get us out - I hope I'm wrong .

I did say that was a disastrous window and I have seen nothing to suggest otherwise still.

Not spending big on at least one central/defensive midfielder and a centre half that has experience of this League, as I pointed out a few times, is looking like a huge mistake.

And unless Sanchez ends up being a top player, or Pellegrini sees sense and for the first time in his career goes to 3 at the back, this season will be just as bad as the past 2 seasons. If not worse.

Claudio Yacob and Yaya Youre are still free agents...is one of them the answer to our midfield conundrum?

I would honestly take Toure if he'd come to us. He's still a class player and this was in the news round-up today:

Marchisio is a free agent too isn't he? What a signing that would be!

Also picked the players by the look of it.

I’m all for giving a team time to gel but signing more players who have proven Prem league quality might have helped that process. I keep thinking of the duds Spurs signed with the Bale money. I’m particularly worried about our CBs.

If there is any truth in an article in this morning's 'Sun' we are considering turning to veteran former defender James Collins on a one year deal only months after ditching him in an E mail, then why not help old Carlton out too, now that he has formally been declared bankrupt?

Heard that Boro have been linked with Antonio (Have a friend who supports them who keeps an eye on their local press). Told him I was not convinced he would drop down a division
