Got a link to that article? I have a Times sub (well, my dad does) and fancy a read of that one.JCA wrote:Double page in The Times this morning. Snodgrass displayed exactly the kind of attitude you want to see from one of your players in the kind of situation he came on in. Showed exactly why the manager selects him and why he deserves his place in the team/coming off the bench.JCA wrote:Double page in The Times this morning. He did make me smile when he come on, smashed one of theirs in his 1st/2nd tackle then done a benny hill of running around chasing them / ball down, talk about commitment from him, was brilliantsanchoz wrote:

Standing ovation for it too... It was like we had Moncur back for a cameo.Clacton-ammer wrote: He did make me smile when he come on, smashed one of theirs in his 1st/2nd tackle then done a benny hill of running around chasing them / ball down, talk about commitment from him, was brilliant
All jokes aside, that is all it takes to get the fans going. A bit of pride, passion and commitment.

It was "sprints", and it also said that Antonio had as many sprints in 7 minutes (4) as Lukaku did in 90. The graphic next to it however showed that West Ham were 3rd from bottom in team sprints (81) with Liverpool top (154) and Man Utd bottom (59).JCA wrote:Double page in The Times this morning. It's proving to be a long and difficult road back to football normality for them . Joyous for the rest of us though.DasNutNock wrote:The office Reds have been over to tell me that Jose & Pogba are beneath "their" club and need to be shipped out. No mention of our dominant, superior, performance, just a load of tosh about how they, essentially, consider themselves above everyone else.

Annoyingly, the main office w*nker Red is nowhere to be seen today. He's the one who reacted with horrified indignance when he cheered a Man U goal in the home end at The Boleyn and was ejected by stewards - he maintained he should have been found a seat with the away fans, the arrogant tosser. I think he can consider reasonably lucky he was spared a shoeing.

Luke Shaw: "Games like this [at West Ham] we should be dominating, creating chances, showing people why we deserve to play for Manchester United."
Another w*nker footballer talking about "these teams", when referring to a number of clubs they consider to be beneath them and inferior. something I've always found to be grotesquely disrespectful and arrogant.

to be fair, we say similar when playing the likes of bournemouth or burnley at home...we should be beating those teams...and the top 4 or 6 should be getting points from the chasing pack below...DasNutNock wrote:https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45703769" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

what annoys me is the lack of humility or acceptance that we played them off the park...

Hardly. All our goals were illegitimate in some way, have you not been paying attention.frankiemac wrote: what annoys me is the lack of humility or acceptance that we played them off the park...

Behave yourself. We only won because they were crap, the officials gave us two goals and we got a fluke deflection for the second.frankiemac wrote: what annoys me is the lack of humility or acceptance that we played them off the park...
Same as how we only drew with Chelsea the other week because Hazard didn't round the keeper rather than try to play in Morata.

Cheers guv, my favourite read.
Well that was a little disappointing, for the best part their comments were fairly balanced...
Man U - they really are in a mess with "the special one", love it :lol:

They're 10th in the Premier League after 7 games f*** me. :lol:I've lost all hope. All excitement for football. All respect for Jose and the majority of the players. I won't be putting this club first anymore. I won't be planning my weekends around them because what is the point? Why waste my time and money to watch players, a manager and a board that don't give a **** about the fans and the performances? I won't be changing my stance until things change, either.
