I don’t think he does.
He had a bad season at Valancia I agree. He’s strong, holds the balls up well, prolific for Marseille, did alright in cameos for Chelsea, did well in Germany. I think there is a player there.
Perez is useless.
Hernandez is lazy, injured often and has more sick days than most
Anderson isn’t a striker

Why, what's so special? He scores and assists less than Arnautovic, Anderson, Perez, Hernandez.[/quote]Marky wrote:I like Batshuayi better than our dross

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
Pelle identified our poor defence when he joined us by getting two Center backs a right back and a goal keeper.
I am sure he wanted a left back and CM as well but Sully couldn't / wouldn't give him anymore dosh in one go. There can be no more excuses now we have 66K and big stadium etc...
Pelle is no mug and knows what he needs, the issue is money again and that is going to be the rock we perish on unless Sully finally realizes that he either has to open the wallet or sell up to a richer man.

Watch him score against us.BromleyHammer wrote:Never seen the fascination with Batishyui , personally I think he’s dog poo. If he can’t score in a team with Hazard et al, what’s he going to do here?
Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
Lets face it, Bats just doesn't fancy battling for starting spot whilst on loan. He won't be guarantee a start when Kane and Son are fit and he won't be the first choice forward if Arnie is fit(I'm guessing we're going to play with a lone forward once one of Lanzini, Nasri or Wilshere comes back).
Personally, I'm glad we didn't bite on this deal. It made no sense, a 6-month loan that would have cost 4-5 million and for a player that doesn't really want to play for us to boot.
I'll rather have Pellegrini and Husillos reload with a second proper window in the Summer. Injuries is what is doing us in currently and signing a forward on loan isn't going to fix that when the issues are in the midfield and and the back - and if you look at the all the transfer activities this window, you'll be hard pressed to spot an stellar defensive moves(there just aren't many quality defensive additions you can make in this window).

Yeh I mean imagine if we could have a striker that scored 1 in 15 at Valencia
They even sent him back and tried to replace him with one of ours

According to C&H, they've also signed some bloke called Nortveidt.POP POP POP Robson wrote:Done deal: Havard Nordtveit to Fulham

La Liga expert Ballague on Radio 5 said someone at Valencia (president / manager) said they “never wanted to see him again” after terminating his loan contract.
The bloke is clearly a tool. Saying that he might be a good signing for Palace. For us it would just be adding to the overcrowded toolbox.
Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
Which CB or CM do you have in mind? When the biggest 'defensive' transfer of the window is Cylne, it's always going to be slim pickings. Are you happy with giving Cahill a two year contract at 80-100k or would you like us to resign Nordtveit again or make a move for some unknown Championship cover?jhammers wrote:Not arsed about batshuyai, but i am that we haven't got a CB or a CM

It's no surprise all the biggest moves are for attacking players, players that aren't playing, surplus to requirements or don't fit the system at their - previous - club.

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
Really wouldn't be surprised if the money's gone to his head since his big money move to those west London clubs. He was clearly talented but he's lost his way and got too comfortable looking on from the outside. Money is ruining players motivation and priorities but that's nothing new. I'd hate for West Ham to have spent £160k a week plus fees on him rocking up against his will footballing wise.
