Manchester City (women) have the wind in their sails. Unbeaten and top of the league, two points ahead of their cup rivals, albeit having played a game more, they have been waiting for silverware since their 2017 FA Cup win.

I hope City smash Chelsea today and the whole squad disobay Pep’s orders and go on a huge drinkathon tonight. That way we might stand a chance for a point! :scarfer:

I’m most worried about the first 15 minutes. And the last 15. And the hour in the middle. :| 0-0 :scarfer:

I can take a defeat. Just for f*cksake please go there and put some effort in and don't give up. Palace, Leicester and Newcastle have beaten them. There's no reason why we can't at least give them a game

Exactly. Don't just run up the white flag. At least let them know they've been in a game !

Yes, probably just the 2 or 3, rather than than the 4 or 5. :(

I think much of the belief that we'll get thumped is derived from the recent home games.

Our last three aways to them have been:

W 2-1
L 1-3 (we conceded the third in injury time)
L 1-2 (we led well into the last third of the game).

Arnie, Anderson, Lanzini, Nasri, Antonio, Carroll, Hernandez - we have enough to score a goal, maybe a couple.

we'll need at least a couple because we let in an average of almost 2 a game...

score 1.23 give up 1.50

more worryingly to me is we only get 4,08 shots on target a game...

gonna be tough to win many with those stats....

we're not alone of course.....Wolves 1.31 v 1.27

small margins and all that...
