if we stick 5 past them will today be forgiven as just a bad day at the office ?
I reckon if I would have had that many bad days at my office I would have been collecting unemployment back in the day...

We are a much bettwr team at home. Huddersfield are 14 points worse off than Cardiff.
It is not comparable.
Whatever team we put out [and there will be changes] and we will win comfortably.
3-0

It is the nature of the league. Most teams are wildly inconsistent. We are 9th. 4 points off winning the 'mini league' we could realistically expect to winCuenca 'ammer wrote:if we stick 5 past them will today be forgiven as just a bad day at the office ?

We have clearly had less bad days than lots of other teams.
The situation really isn't that bad

Confident we'll win this one. Does it make a difference? Nope.

Should be a routine win 2-0. But who knows with West Ham. We could just as easily lose. Same old West Ham. Nothing ever really changes.

Posted this on the Cardiff match thread, but every time people starting posting that "we will thrash them" we inevitably lose. Blame the posters for our poor form against the lower half teams
Seriously though, our season is pretty much over, so if I were Pellegrini I would send out a message and drop some of those who started against Cardiff and bring in some who were on the bench or not in the squad.
Lack of quality is forgivable, lack of effort or desire is not. The problem is attitude imo.
Maybe it is the perfect game to try something different at home i.e. having Anderson, Lanzini, Antonio behind Arnie with Nasri (or Lanzini) playing deeper alongside Rice in midfield. Just go for it.

Oh Puffy, Haha why of course we will. It's what we do best is it not?
We probably won't win again until we play Chelsea away, where we will play like champions and take all 3 points.

If his fit enough Fabian Balbuena is a shoe in surely to start.
Re: ⚽West Ham Utd v Huddersfield Town: match thread (16/3)
Again we should have more than enough, but I would like to see Pellers ring the changes.
Antonio was harshly dropped IMO and I think he would have a field day against this lot. Hernandez deserves some bench time for diving, though a disinterested Arnie or perma crock Carroll aren't great options, Antonio up top? He can't do any worse. We've got Nasri on the payroll so he may as well work for it and give Lanzini some down time, or even play then both and let Noble have a break because we won't need 2 defensive players in midfield. Masuaku in for Cresswell ( who was woeful for the first goal). I'd really like to see Diangana back on the pitch if fit (he's been on and off the bench). The season is over, 7th is gone, we are well safe might as well see who is going to be staying/contributing next year.
