Thanks r99c .... Vintage Clouds .... After running a shocker and being pulled up in the Welsh Grand National I got 40/1 on him for the National. Since then he's had a wind operation and stormed to a very creditable 2nd place at Cheltenham. Now 14/1 at best !!

Re: *Aintree 2019 Racing Competition*
Tiger Roll looked imperious at Cheltenham Festival and probably represents the best chance any horse has had in the last 40 years or so since Red Rum of winning back to back wins. I believe Red Rum's Aintree record ranks as the greatest sporting achievement in my lifetime. What people tend to forget is over a five year period, Red Rum won the National two years running, was then runner up two consecutive years before in 1977 returning to the winner's enclosure for an unprecedented third and final victory. A record that simply will never be beaten and at a time when the fences were far more challenging.
It would be good to see another horse win a second National and with a bit of the luck that is always needed, Tiger Roll may well be the one today. We'll see later, I'm still pondering my selections for today, which can't be any worse than yesterday

I've put 20 pounds to win on a horse that one of you here has tipped - nothing to do with the person that tipped it , I chose it for another reason - I'll let you know if it wins .

we've just witnessed equine history, what a cracking horse Tiger Roll is
sad scenes at the first fence though, the horse taken down by a falling horse stood no chance

I thought One For Arthur was going to catch him at one point but no , he held on gamely , well done , Tiger Roll , he's some horse .
The one I backed was ' Noble Endeavour ' , heard it mentioned a couple of times . I backed because we've been watching Series 1-6 of......' Endeavour ' ! Only decided to have a bet at around 4.50pm .
