Just to add, the whole narrative about it being harsh because Antonio's touch took the ball away from goal - and therefore was never leading to a clear cut chance - is just stupid, wrong and irrelevant. Why? Because the foul was committed BEFORE he touched the ball.
Holebas impeded Antonio without the ball, the foul was from behind, he was the last man. That's the very definition of a professional last man foul, is it not? We'll never know if Antonio would've skied it to row z - because Holebas prevented the situation from being played out. A red card was the right call, it was such an easy decision to make.

Yep, a foul and denied a clear goal scoring opportunity. A clear red according to the letter of the law. I wonder if it would have been rescinded if Watford didn't have a cup final coming up.

On a Human level I am pleased his ban was overturned.
Different if it had been a violent foul or ...................they were playing against us in the final!!

Yep. Fully agree. Devastating for a player to miss a final, especially one who may not get near another chance. Glad he was cleared to play. Just a shame there was not similar mercy for poor Hayden Mullins though.

Was so gutted for him. Was pleased he got to play in an FA Cup Final with Portsmouth.

There is also a picture that will make a lot of people shudder.
